And sir, my problem is last year I have 30k stgc loss and 84k ltcg gain but I don't want to setoff this to make final 64k, as if I carry forward 30k stgc loss still ltcg is under 1lakh which is expemted. Is that possible?

@@anonymous_devil3730 I think no mandatory set-off is required in this scenario since the LTCG is exempt. You can carry forward your STCL of ₹30,000 to future years for set-off against any future capital gains.

@16:30 80ccd(2) is being asked for employer contribution not employee contribution. Its limit is up to 10% of salary (Basic + DA) and not 50000

Came here to say this. 50,000 deduction is under 80CCD(1B). Employer contribution can very well exceed the 1.5L + 0.5 L limit (except it can't be more than 14% of basic for a Central government employee).
