Btw, sower of discord doesnt work with master of cruelties since no damage was dealt. Only one player would die and the other would only take the kaalia damage.

Very nice. I recently got back into Magic to try out commander and KaaLia (Borderless double master) was my go to because she's the only good R/B/W commander that supports my three favorite tribes. Thanks for sharing your deck, you've given me a really good place to start from.

Mardu(Red, White, Black)is my favorite color combination and even now I still find myself coming back to Kaalia and Syr Gwyn. I made a mid power Gwyn Equipment deck and it was lovingly dubbed "gogo gadget dick punch" since I can pull any equipment out of my deck, equip it for 0 mana, AND then proceed to hit you with it over, and over, and over.

I have a Kaalia of the vast deck I've had one since 2017 and the include that I like a lot is mudslide it's an underrated card not a whole lot of people are expecting it they're expecting something like a fervor or Dragon Tempest or something like that I really enjoy mudslide a lot and then sneak attack would be another one that I'm debating about as well I like the dektek I'm debating myself to changing a rub every year so the new cards come out maybe reassess maybe try some new combos out some new lines thanks for sharing

Gotta say I loved how you built this up and made my mind to get some stuff for my kaalia, however, even with vilis and all the life loss the deck makes happen there is no point for the Sheodred at all not even as combo

Dude awesome cards love kaalia. I have a timmy kaalia too and a cedh one. Go razacats and breech ad dockside. I run four demons two dragos and one angel. 13 other creatures. Razaketh and leonin relic warder are the real commanders. Try it out for turn three wins. Screw blue before they do you. Haha. Keep up the sweet vids buddy

change the fast lands into slow lands. 9/10 times you will draw them late game and they all are tapped

toxic deluge is in there, but imo I think that farewell is better to run instead of ruinous ultimatum because that condition of color cost can be a lil tricky, but its up to you really, and depends on your mana base

I like this video a lot. Before I didn't have cavern of souls, or hall of bandit lord, but now you explain it, it is amazing. What do you think about the legendary Kamigawa lands. I just took out a mountain, plains, and a swamp for them. What do you think?

Also, how come you have the talismans instead out the ignots. THe ignots are way better because they can turn one colorless mana which is worth very little into two colored mana. Just a no-brainer when I think about it

It does damage to you which makes you draw with villis and doesnt require a colorless mana to use. Which means you could pay 2 to put it on the board and use that mana to cast a mother of runes or any other 1 cost cards. Talisman are in general way better. Also pretty sure you mean signets and not ingots.

Sad to see Hellkite Tryant not in this deck. Especially with high end decks that have Crypts, sol rings, etc.. In play. It an be a devestating swing to the board stealing someones mox/Crypt/Sol ring/ Talismans, etc.. while they lose it, and steal any other artifacts that they may have like greaves, boots, etc. You say you aren't in love with terror of the peaks, well I think Hellkite has way more benefit, and swing in this deck than Terror. Not to mention, you keep the artifacts even if Hellkite dies. Secondly; I found that I was always using Enlightened tutor to fetch Lightning greaves or Swiftfoot.. So I found Steelshaper's gift a lot better than Enlightened tutor, Because I can put it into my hand directly, and still get my card draw.

I just started EDH and decided to roll with Kaalia! It seems like a very expensive deck to build over time. Not something to make overnight. Amy advice on budget options?

Obviously it depends on how much you are willing to spend, but there's a lot of budget friendly angels, demons and dragons. If you exclude fast mana artifacts, lands and all the expensive stuff, you will still have like 60% of the deck. You can find playable Kaalia builds for like100-150 bucks, and the ceiling is very high so you can improve the deck over time if you want.

I don’t understand how jeweled lotus a lotus petal and a land get kaalia out turn 1. Maybe with a duel land, but jeweled lotus only taps for colorless mana, lotus petal only taps for 1 of any color, and a land only taps for another color. Did you mean a duel land?

Jeweled lotus doesnt tap for colorless mana, its 3 mana of the same color. I think you might be confused. You put a land that generates any color (except colorless), put jeweled lotus plus petal lotus which puts you at a total of 5 mana and all of your 3 colors. All this can be done turn one.

Personally I'd say toss Phyrexian Arena because it's too slow. Replace it with a Night's Whisper or Thrill of Possibility. Could also ditch Cloudshift for a similar card draw instant or sorcery.

You also have the new white flare… I took out arena a long time ago… way too slow. Plenty of white/black cards that let you draw… at one point I had maren and stranglehold in the deck… pretty much gg. Unless they have something in their hand to stop the lockout at that moment.
