Just bought iPhone 13, I had Samsung J6+ from 2016 keyboard on that can crush iPhone’s slow ass keyboard can’t type fast can’t add symbols etc. Typing this for over 2 minutes. Which can take 40 sec on my samsung.

I like Gboard because you can turn on haptic feed back. For me it's unsatosfing without the haptic feedback when I click the keyboard. Other then that, the stock it better.

You can add a number row to Gboard by turning on the "Show number row" toggle when you tap on Keyboard settings in the Gboard app

How? Does this only work on newer iPhones? Testing bunch of stuff on my old iPhone 7 before I finally commit to switching back to iOS. Mine's toggled on but still no number row like the Android version. I prefer Gboard over Swiftkey because I had years of good experience with it on my android phones

Yea i agree those colourful ones are trash. But I had other problem with it. I bought an iphone 12 and coming from an s10 plus , i just couldn't stand it. I literally would swap it with my s10 in the middle of the night cause the iphone keyboard would piss me off. Idk there s something off about it, it doesn't seem very responsive to me, kinda laggy and slow. And i type a lot of words wrong. I don't know if the iphone keyboard has haptic response for the keyboard or not, but I just find it addicting and a must at least for me=]] I installed g board and swift key and they re better. I do less mistakes and i can type faster. I mean if the stock keyboard works for you then great but for a lot of people it s weird and not that good feeling

Gboard has it--note the top row has very small numbers that appear above it. Long press the letter that has the number above it that you want to insert, the number pops up, release, and the number is added to the line you are typing.

It's seen either way because even on your default keyboard accesses typed information especially with built in software that allows the keyboard to show recent phrases typed frequently.

Quando eu usava android eu gostava que no swiftkey a vírgula ficava logo na primeira tela do teclado. Já no iphone o swiftkey tem que apertar uma tecla do lado esquerdo pra abrir outros caracteres, pra poder usar a vírgula... achei isso chatinho, e acho até hoje.
