Imo the price is bad because they used react instead of zoom. React is fine as a carrier foam but being the lone cushion in a $200+ shoe is crazy

I use LeBron 11 insole full length zoom. It fits perfectly with Kobe 9

I prefer em 9 low. These new protro shoes need better cushion or just add full zoom. Would love to see Nike allow us to buy extra midsole w better cushion

I can’t speak on every shoe but the Kobe 6 were good. Kobe 8 might be the best hoop shoe I’ve ever used. But Kobe’s take down models and team shoes were good too. Kobe had so many different shoes so everyone could get a pair and play in them, but Nike just profiting off this man’s death.

Nah. The Kobe 9 is a beast. Its well respected for its greatest of all time traction. It earned that respect because it's undefeated on dusty basketball gym courts everywhere around the world. You could literally play with not a care in the world in the Kobe 9 and never slide out, it was so good. Drop in Midsoles may not be everyone's favorite cushioning setups, but until the Lunerlon foam bottomed out it was amazing in the Kobe 9. As a performance shoe, it one of the greatest basketball shoes ever!

I actually found them sitting at my local footlocker and considering I live in LA where we're all Kobe Stans, I'm was beyond shocked when they said they still had sizes available for the 9 and a full size run of the team color 8s that also dropped recently.
