Betul bgt, genre nya banyak dan ceritanya juga gak sperti film2 biasa. Dan satu lgi, di indonesia kebanyakan yg pegang peranan di film yg muda2 dan mukanya agak bule2 gtu, tapi di korea bahkan nenek2 aja bisa jadi pemeran utama atau bahkan ada pemeran utamanya tuh maaf "kurang ganteng" tapi kualitas aktingnya luar biasa. Di indonesia aktor2 atau artis2 senior cuma jadi pemeran biasa atau selewatan aja, tapi di korea aktor2 atau artis2 sepuh punya peran penting dan karakternya berasa bgt di film itu.

Is it just me, or is Korean cinema not as great as it once was? Don't get me wrong, I love Korean movies & have always vouched that they're the best film makers in the world, but these past few years there really hasn't been anything that's caught my attention, & if I do happen to watch something, I don't find it that great. You still get your "must watch" films every now & then like Parasite, but not much more. I don't see any good revenge films anymore like Oldboy, I Saw the Devil, Bittersweet Life, The Chaser, Man From Nowhere, etc. Don't really see many good Rom movies like The Classic, My Sassy Girl, Windstruck, A Moment to Remember, etc. Don't see many good thrillers like The Wailing, Burning, Train to Busan, Memories of Murder, etc. Idk if it's just me or not, but I feel like I haven't watched many great Korean films in a while. I used to watch like 20+ Korean movies a year since the 2000s to mid 2010s, but now I hardly watch any, maybe just 2-3 a year.

The only Korean series I've watch were Squid Game, Bulgasal, & a few old ones from the 2000s. I was thinking about watching "My Name" on Netflix because the trailer looked cool.

I dont know about if its action or not but I will definitely suggest you to watch "MOUSE" web series its the best psychological/suspense/thriller I have ever seen. In starting 2-3 episodes you will find it boring but trust me you will binge watch all of its 20 episodes together if you watched its first 4 episodes.The cliffhanger they leave with each passing episode is just outstanding
