Nah. It’s been evolving pretty steadily since more brands have been able to develop etpu foams. Like there’s not much you can change about the upper of a sneaker, but midsole foams have made a huge leap in the last 10 years. Outsole rubber has also moved forward in a big way. Mostly you see that with Li-Ning, but other brands have been able to make compounds that are both more durable and more grippy. Nike just cheaps out on everything so if all you’re looking at is their shoes then yes they stopped improving 10 years ago.

What do you wear in a Kobe protro 5 ? That’s what I’m trying to figure out now. I still hoop in double socks. So fit is always hard. In Kobe protro 5s I’m a 10.5, in the Anta shockwave pro 5 I’m a 10. But the 361 quick pro neither fit great. 10 is over snug and 10.5 too roomy.

I have the same colorway and I love the design. It's a great all around shoe. The traction is great though it requires some break in time. My only knock was I found them to be a bit on the heavy side but that's more of a personal preference.

So, here’s the problem. Everyone that has done a review of these has something different to say on fit. You def can’t try these on in stores. So Sammy says go true to size and it fit like a glove. And if anything go up 1/2 size. Well wear testers says go true to size and they’re a little roomy, if your size is sold out go down 1/2 size. Very contradicting. I double sock when I hoop so it’s always hard when shopping for hoop shoes on fit. For example my Anta shockwave pro 5 are a 10, and I double sock and they fit perfect. Most Nikes I have to get a 10.5 like my Kobe Protro 5s. 361 quick pro in a size 10 while double socking is on that edge of being too tight, but the 10.5 in 361 is too roomy.

I went TTS, I wear a size 11, they were snug, but needed to be broken in. I got the a 12 because they don’t have 11.5 bad move. Stick to the 11 and I have wide feet

just copped my triple black colorway although its has not been release yet here in canada or even in the US but just fortunate to have my plug in china and secured my pair. Also good thing that I watched this vid before copping them to know that I had to go half size down. (coz im like you I like my hoop shoe compact and tight, I dont mess with that toebox space bs lol) I can't wait to get this on hand and hoop them, I do really feel like they are one of the top tier shoe this year. I really don't like the strap with it though but I think it is what it is. much love jay! waiting for more reviews.

The best Kyrie in my opinion is Kyrie 6, the most comfortable is Kyrie infinity, the only Kyrie shoe from Nike has both front (turbo) and heel zoom. I will never buy a new Kyrie after Nike.
