Keychron K2 user here haha so I’ll probably not be submitting my setup anytime soon lol. But it’s great to get ideas especially since it seems my problems of very limited space is quite common actually. Also glad you feature setups from your international (outside US) viewers. Love this series!

I’m the owner of the second setup, and I’m constantly looking for a new keyboard, and the problem to me is that I’m a heavy MacBook user, so it is hard to find a fully Mac-compatible mechanical keyboard and unfortunately, there are just a few options in market :(

I love this series . I think I'm gonna submit my super low budget setup when Im done. It isn't gonna be how I want it to be but for the money I have now I've decided just to have the bare essentials and work up from there in time and ill submit my setup every time I do something to change it closer to my desired final product.

hi there. I would like to set up a 14" Macbook pro m1pro as mostly a desktop set up...I will get a 32" 4K monitor for it. My hard drives are Thunderbolt 1 and 2. I guess I will need an adapter to connect them to the macbook pro? do i need a dock? I would like to keep the macbook pro closed mostly and use a keyboard and mouse...similar to what I see at the 2min and 21 sec mark on this video...is it bad for the laptop to be closed for extended periods of time? I would use AC of course. I would like to know a basic set up. For sound I would connect a AV receiver via headphone jack...any basic diagrams I can look at...thanks so much

In several of the videos you say that it would be a better option to leave the laptop closed since the monitor is so big, I'm finished assembling the hybrid setup, Macbook M1 + Dell G7 Gamer, with Philips 49" 499P9H monitor, but the G7 gets so hot that I'm afraid to work with it closed, it gets so hot it looks like it's going to fry.

If that's the case then leave it open not every laptop has cooling adequate for being closed unfortunately.
