Yep, the Indiana Jones Temple of the Golden Idol set 77015 is number one from last year in my pile, looking forward to where it's at this Q4. Those started disappearing in late October in my area. Glad I grabbed a few of those Batman 3 packs also, yahoo! That City Tractor 60287 was also part of a City Gift Pack Walmart Exclusive for $20 total, that was an easy double your money last Christmas.

I remember a comment on your channel last year where somebody said they were struggling to find anything good to invest in 😂 Out of the 2 years I’ve been investing in Lego, 2024 absolutely knocked it out of the park for me. We had so so many sets that are doing well already in the UK 🇬🇧 I love to find niche sets that not a lot of people were talking about for investing and have a few of these treasures. Who knew the Dilophosaurus ambush would double in value from what we could pick them up for a week into retirement 😁 We had some big savings on the Sanctum here, shame the discounts didn’t come for you. I missed out on all Ideas sets as we didn’t get the discounts we’d hoped for.

But like we discussed at the time, we just had to pivot and focus on the other great opportunities. And I think because of that, the game of finding the unsung gems was a lot of fun! I told you...wolverine claws and starlord for the win lol. Tales of the space age was a hard find in my area. I only ever found 2 at different targets on clearance and never saw it again. Same with the typewriter I only ever got the 1 from a private seller for 200. The SW mechs really surprised me...did not think they would do as well as they have. Too bad about the castle and El Dorado...glad I only have a couple of each Side note - are you going to do an update on these later in the year? Every quarter? 6 months maybe? It'd be interesting to see. And happy new year good luck to all in your reselling endeavors

Yes you did, great calls on those two! Phew, I'm glad you were at least able to get one typewriter... yeah, tough one to find on sale. Yes, I definitely will track some set performance over the next 6, 12 months, and a few years to come. But I've done some videos like that, and they always get lower views 🤪. So I'm thinking about just mixing in a couple of performance look-backs in my normal videos. I got to figure out how to cover that but without doing it and poor performing videos!

The A-frame cabin was a pleasant surprise for me. I was able to get mine for an average of 94 USD each after rakuten gwp etc. Already sold a few of them for 130% ROI after fees + shipping

The globe is this years colosseum. I feel like there will be one of those each year (investment community really slept on it). Leia and Cody helmets to me are like last years republic fighter tank. Everyone talks about it, which means it’s overbought and won’t do well. Fomo for this year is missing out on Ecto 1, and missing out on 30% off home alone set on Best Buy for Black Friday. I put all my eggs in one basket with the Ultra Dragon. It was an obvious pick. Featured all four core Ninja in their gold suits, which COMPLETED the collection, the coveted four-armed version of the Crystal King, which came in two sets only. The other set he came in sucked. The Ultra Dragon also featured perhaps the hardest-to-get Lloyd minifigure the theme has ever seen, which is also one of the coolest figs the theme has ever seen (Onions Lloyd). Lastly, the build itself was a 9/10. It was a 10/10 if you did not mind the lack of cloth. I personally did not. And the dragon looks incredible in person. The Ultra Dragon hit every mark with every figure being highly coveted and with one of the highest rated dragons ever among Ninjago reviewers. This one was a guarantee. Oh, and the fact that that the set never went on sale except for an occasional $30 cash back from honey, meant it was going to be under-hoarded. Also low cost to ship.
