Thanks for posting this. I picked up a Holt (pistol grip) the other day and added grease gun coupler to it. Tried it out for the first time today and it worked like a charm. Thanks, again!

Working on trucks and heavy equipment a grease gun is an every day tool. For a couple years I didn't want to pay out for a battery gun but once I did there's no going back. Easier to use, way more efficient, especially when greasing telescoping booms and track tensioners. I'll still use 1 if I can't get my hands on air or battery but anyone who scoffs at power grease guns is someone you shouldn't take seriously. Definitely in my top 5 tools. If I had a lot of machines out on jobs I would even wait for a sale and buy a battery gun for each, most operators will not grease machines and attachments unless you make it as easy as possible and insist on it. Btw, good vid, I actually like the idea of the Pressol and Lock'n Lube guns, they're still trash compared to Milwaukee though.

Yep now most battery platforms offer a cordless grease gun and if your in a shop its a must. Old school manual guns are great for those specialty greases or DIY.

I used to have the Pittsburgh pistol grip style (worked well) but now I have the Ridgid cordless grease gun... total game changer....✔️ 10:40.. really surprised that little magnet actually held that grease gun in place..

I'm usually a pistol grip fan since I'm only working on cars and light trucks, shame to see the Kobalt failed! Very good to know

Yeah the Kobalt looked like it was going to the best of both worlds until it failed.

I appreciate the effort and the work you do on your channel (and I subscribe), but I nearly fell off my chair when I saw you didn't include the Alemite 500-E in your test. I mean, they basically invented the grease gun over 100 years ago and have pioneered everything in this area. For many techs like myself, they are the gold standard of the industry. Leaving Alemite out of a lever grease gun test is like doing a comparison of wrenches and leaving Snap-On out. The 500-E has been around decades and is rated for 10,000 psi. Seriously, take a look, very good quality.

Thanks for the sub! Technically I did test a Alemite just not the 500 lol, Lincoln is owned by SKF who also owns Alemite and they share most of the products under different brands. If I test them again I will include the 500.

@@Tools-Tested Thanks for getting back to me! Have a look at the Lincoln and Alemite in pictures and you'll see the designs and build are different. SKF may own Lincoln and Alemite, but Alemite uses a beefier design, a better handle grip and stronger pivot points. The Lincoln is to Alemite what Blue-Point is to Snap-On...Anyway, love your tests and dedication-keep up the good work!

No Milton? I've been lucky enough to get a few of their grease guns through Amazon's Vine review program, and would like to suggest they seem competently designed and featured, but i haven't had to use any of them yet, as I'm not currently working a maintenance job. I guess maybe i should offer to send them your way, or one of two at least, if you'd like to compare them? We can discuss specific details if you're actually interested. I might have some other tools I'd be willing to loan for your testing and reviews, though at the moment the only ones coming to mind are some Jaco air gauges that I've just acquired.

I almost did test the Milton, it was in my cart. I just didn't want to spend anymore money lol. That would be great! but I'm probably not going to revisit lever grease guns for a while. I do appreciate the thought! Thanks!

Lol yeah luckily I will be returning the Kobalt and probably sell the others in a garage sale. It's defiantly a lot of money and time to make these videos.
