Thanks I’m an oiler at a sawmill. This video came in handy. Didn’t wanna look stupid trying to figure it out at work. The dosage counter is great for greasing machines with hundreds of fittings. Thanks 👍

Tim, I purchased one of these a few weeks ago for my tractor. This is my first grease gun and I didn’t know how to load or use it. Thank you for the excellent video. Your presentation style was great and your comprehensive demonstration of all of the features and how to load and use the gun was awesome.

Same here! I agree!

The numbers on the dosage counter is for the # of strokes it would equal on a manual hand pump grease gun. As manufacturers will specify how many "strokes" or "pumps" of grease to put in.

Just bought tool only for $129.99 on a Daily Deal at HD. Had no idea how the plunger works on a grease gun until I found your video. THANK YOU!
@osvaldotrevino1991 Жыл бұрын
I've never put the plunger in and bleed it out. I just use it like that and notice the plunger has measurements knowing how much grease you still have or have put into. The plunger slowly goes inside by itself when greasing. I dont know if im doing something wrong or it dont matter but has worked for me great.

The dosage counter sounds like a quick squeeze counter. The ticks of the motor seem to match each setting.

@Shop Tool Reviews Great review and demonstration of that new Ridgid grease gun. It's too bad that Ridgid or Home Depot didn't do a good job of telling protentional customers about that dosage feature. It can help with not wasting grease and making sure that enough grease gets put in. Hope you, the staff at STR, and your families stay safe and well.

Hi, the dose is the amount of pumps as per number displayed. Number 5 = 5 pumps, 50 is = 50 pumps of grease.

Thanks for the video Tim. I am thinking of a manual one since I do not grease a lot of stuff. But as always. Very nice video

Yeah, if you don't grease a lot, this is really not a necessary tool. Thanks for watching.

@@Shoptoolreviews I did my atv yesterday which is a normal PAIN IN THE BUTT. I think it was like 16 zerks. Omg, I will NEVER not have one of these again. Absolute amazing tool. I’m so glad I saw this review and pulled the trigger. THANK YOU

I followed your video with the purging on install, and I still end up getting grease getting out.... So I'm not sure what I did wrong, and what I can do unless waiting for finishing this tube.

I’ve never ever seen such a dumb way to prime a grease gun lmao. I grease usually 3 tubes per day avg and never once have I ever primed a grease gun like that. Just ridiculous 🙄
