These lifts are 2020 Kone Monospace 700 DX / Ecodisc lifts located within the St James Quarter shopping centre in Edinburgh, which opened in summer 2021. Whilst I have seen many Kone Ecodisc lifts before, I have never seen a lift like this!
These lifts feature an amazing and unique feature, floor to ceiling screens which display moving images. This is complemented by a sound system. All walls of the lift have these screens whilst the doors and ceiling are mirrored to ensure that the images can be seen fully throughout the lift, making this an immersive experience for passengers! I am a fan of lifts anyway but i have never before seen a lift with such an interesting and enjoyable passenger experience! Hopefully this video gives you a taste of what it is like to ride these fantastic lifts!
Both lifts serve car park floors -3, -2 and -1 along with floors 1 - 5. The right lift additionally serves floors 6 and 7. Currently only floors -3 to 4 are open to the public. Additionally, these lifts feature nice sounds from the Kone Ecodisc motor and brakes. Pre-doors (classic levelling) is also found on these lifts.

Thanks! Yeah this is a massive change in passenger experience compared to an average lift! It makes the experience of riding these lifts unique and enjoyable! I really like them! I really hope you can get to visit them some time!!!

I miss the glass 1st Generation Ecodisc bit these lifts definitely make up for it.

Yeah I agree. I never went in the 1st generation ecodisc that used to be here but from the videos I have seen it looked good and had nice rectangle delta buttons too. I do think these lifts make up for it though definitely!

Yes these are fantastic! Yeah I heard about that flood, luckily there are no signs of it now and everything is sorted!

Why is there an extra button above the normal Up/Down buttons? Maybe to call that specific lift?

Yes that's right. The lift on the left only goes as high as floor 5 but the one on the right goes up to floor 6 and 7. If you want to go to 6 or 7 you need to get in the lift on the right so the button calls the right lift specifically. If they did not have that button and you wanted 6 or 7, the left lift might come and you cant make your trip so they need a button to call the right lift specifically as it serves extra floors.
