Hello! How u feel about atom sl? Is it also water proof ?
@bryanwanphotography2 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian, the SL is a fantastic choice as well if youre looking for something a little lighter and dont need the extra warmth. Unfortunately both jackets (atom LT and the SL) aren't waterproof but water RESISTANT. It will keep you dry in light rain for short amount of time but I wouldn't recommend staying out for too long in wet weather. If youre in a wetter climate i would recommend getting a waterproof shell to go on top of these jackets! I hope this helps!

@@ebkadn I dont have experience with the Gamma line but im sure the same concept applies that it is water resistant and not water proof. Bro great video! This will be my first canadian winter in Quebec a girl on the shop told me that the Atom + my HH Active Autumn Primaloft will be enough to -30. What do you think? Should I just get the Atom and my jacket or I should get a bulky one like Canadian goose
@bryanwanphotography Жыл бұрын
Can’t really speak about the HH jacket as I don’t have much knowledge on it but doing a bit of research it seems like it could potentially be okay in -30 degree weather as long as you layer appropriately. Layering is the best way to keep insulated. But if you feel constricted by the layers then it won’t do much good. You can try to experiment and see what works best! I can’t recommend the Canadian goose jackets as they are a hype brand imo UNLESS you’re getting the crazy expensive ones for arctic expeditions. With down jackets if it gets wet (which it will if it rains or snows) the insulation won’t be as warm as synthetic. Also depends on your use case do you think you’ll be in the wet more or the dry. I hope this helps answer your question! Feel free to ask more if you have more!
