I have to say that the creams sounded (at least in this comparison) like one of the higher pitches between these switches. My favorites here, sound wise, must be the ink blacks and tangeringes. However, I've used broken in and lubed creams together with both SA and Cherry profile high quality caps and they sound really good, they're also really smooth for its price once broken in. But inks are much more smooth, especially since it doesn't require being broken in.

why dry over silk?
@nikolastojanovic20633 жыл бұрын
@@placeholder3863 dry's are produced by jwk and silks are not as far as i know and jwk switches are the smoothest out there. Another reason is silks are factory lubed and factory lube isnt good on most of the switches dry's are not factory lubed so u can lube them by yourself and if u want to lube silks u need to clean them first and that is very tedious so that is the reason

Gat Ink Blacks, NK Creams and MX Blacks sounded best for me and knowing I'm a heavy typist (not that I type a lot, which I do, but that I really slam the keys), and liked much more my Gat Blacks smoothness than the scratchiness of my MX Browns, I'm pretty sure after my Boba Gums (arriving soon so I can get rid of my Browns), I'll build a 84 keys with Gateron Ink Blacks for plain smooth and thocc sounding while working where I can make noise (the Boba Gums are to use in my GF's room, while she's studying or in call with her patients - she's a psychologist -, or supervising her students from college, while I work on my own stuff or gaming by her side).

I think gateron (full black housing) KS-3 yellows are the best for the sole but unimportant reason that they are a good compromise between showing people you know what you are talking about, but not being a 'snob' by getting the newest and expensive switches. Gateron Inks are really heavy, and generally within the Chinese mech community and online retailers sell them in small packs of 4-10, and are supposed to be for larger keys with stabilizers only. I like how they sound but it being so heavy is a dealbreaker for me, it's gonna be very fatiguing to type with.
