Thx for the recommendation on the Hota T240 PSU. I was litterally searching for a PSU. Just ordered the F6 and the T240. Great review!❤

Just got my charger yesterday. Love it. One question, what is night mode?

@@billrenfro7113 night mode is dark mode, it darkens the screen

@@Fly_High_FPV Thanks, that's what I thought but mine won't go into night mode. Just reverts back to normal.

@@billrenfro7113 correction, I just double checked and night mode seems to drop the brightness down AND changes the main background from blue to black. Changing the LCD Backlight setting kicks it out of night mode

I received my F6+ yesterday (11-1-24) which has software version 1.0.4. The current version is 1.0.5. What is the difference? Should I do an update?

@@billrenfro7113 the new firmware adds one touch charging, fires up all 4 lanes with one tap. I dropped a video on firmware updates this month. Check my Lipo Junky Playlist! Nice review. Just got this charger today. My only gripe is why didn't they add the USBC port? For what you pay it's a bit mean not to have it on the F6+ when it's there on the less expensive F6. For me it would be a very useful feature!
@Fly_High_FPV6 ай бұрын
@@richardpowellTV I 100% agree. If you have the Hota T240 Power Supply, it has both USB-C and USB-PD . On the F6 the Micro USB ports are both used for FW updates, and the USB-A is for power 👍

Can you charge 4 x 8000mAh LiHV's at 1C each on AC simultaneously with this? if not, what you you recommend for this for charging directly from the wall? Thank you.
@matt.explore24 күн бұрын
Ah just got to the part where you said you can do up to 5A per lane on AC. Thanks for the info. Do you know of any chargers that you can get 8A per lane on AC? Or what would be a good set up for DC power to get this? Thanks.
@Fly_High_FPV23 күн бұрын
@@matt.explore the f6+ is 720watts / 25.2v / 4 lanes is 7amps by 4 lanes. The F6 can do 15amps x 4 lanes, but needs a beast power supply. I use an HP server power supply. You'll need at least 825watts PSU to get 4x 6S HV 8amps 👌

@@Fly_High_FPV awesome thanks for the reply! Are there any specific PSU’s you recommend for the F6 for 15A x 4? Thanks

@matt.explore I used to work in server rooms, so I just salvaged a couple Dell/HP Power Supplies. I soldered 3x xt60 leads onto the 12v output, and put a jumper on from green to black to make it autostart when plugged in. YT has some tutorials on converting PC PSU into 12v power supplies. I always assume a power supply designed to run 24/7 in a server room will out perform anything made by charger companies
