I'm so glad! Yay! You can't do this through Restream, but you can set this up inside of your KZbin Studio ahead of time so that when you go live the correct thumbnail pops 🙌

The maximum length/size will depend on your plan with Restream! You can view their full plans here where it lists the amount of upload space you have: restream.io/join/ADl5Wz (*affiliate link 🙏). Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure what you mean by the second question - would you be able to clarify? 🙂 You can upload pre-recorded videos to streams, if that's what you mean!

That's a great question! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that is possible! You can schedule videos, and have pre-recorded videos, so you may just have to upload the pre-recorded videos and schedule those to start at the time that you would assume the video would end (as a workaround) 🙂@@safajordan8012

Hey! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video 🙌💛 Unfortunately it's not possible to stream into Instagram right now with this tool! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's something available in the future, though. In the meantime, I'll stream using this into Facebook and/or KZbin and then have my phone streaming into IG right beside me. Not ideal - but can do the trick if needed!

Hey! Unfortunately I don't *think* it's possible to crossfade the video - though, this may be a feature they have that I just haven't explored yet! However, I do know from my own personal experience that you can play your desktop audio while you have this on 🙂 I hope this helps!!

To be honest, I'm not sure because I haven't really checked out OBS in details, but I believe that the biggest difference is that OBS will stream your video live, whereas Restream helps you go from streaming on just one platform/channel to being able to stream on multiple at once! 🚀

Hey Mags!! I would still recommend Descript 🙂 It makes editing sooo much easier and faster so you'll be saving time! With that said, if you're going to be going live anyways, then you could record live and then cut up/edit the clips in Descript to share out! Hey Marta! It can be a lot - but it can be worth it! Alternatively, if you're new to streaming and just want to stream to Facebook or Instagram, then I would just use their inherent systems and use that to keep things super simple 🙂💛

About the Storage options. Most people that stream in terms of gaming just buy extra Hard Drives to store their data. A 2TB drive Goes for £60 to £100 at the moment so even with this added cost its much cheaper for most than even Restream and Zoom. With cloud storage their are a lot of drawbacks. What if your internet is down?, then you can not get access to your stored videos. Id imaging that its in the contract for any sites like Zoom and Restream that if you have your account banned, you stope uising after a certain period of time or you close it yourself they delete all your videos. If you did not back up your videos elsewhere then you have lost them forever. Also Facbook has a clause where it says for 360 and 180 live videos, "Streams that consistently go over 20 Mbps may be refused or automatically closed by the Facebook Live server" For basic streans you have stream for a maximum of 8 hours. So with all if have said it would be cheaper for most people to use the basic options of sits like Facebook, KZbin and maybe zoom then just store their videos locally. Hell to add to the plan costs you need to pay your internet and line rentals each year on top of the plans( in your case plus all the extra prgrams you use in the descrption) and Zoom is still the Cheaper option.

The only thing you are paying for is the ability to stream on to platforms at the same time with massive downsides. The pricing is far to expensive for the average user. The only 2 platforms to steam on at the same time would be Twitch and KZbin as they are the biggest ones for gaming. Facebook and other are used by certain ages and in terms of facebook most people wont be interested in gaming. As someone who is older would think, "i dont game and such so why do i need to stream to multiple platforms" all the people that they know would likely be on the one platform only, I think plaforms like KZbin and many others have all the basics that one needs to stream and its simple to understand even for those who may not be tech savy and what not. PLANS AND FEATURES, the only one seems interesting is the custom branding and such. 1. The team seats thing, most people would just have people they know or hire other people to help with there stream from an outside source with would be at no extra cost to them id think. 2. The free plan only lets you stream to Facebook so its not worth it at all (they did it this way to make you pay for it and have the excuse of more features) 3. Compare Restream to zoom basic and free plans. Zoom basic can have 100 people, Restream basic only allows 6, Zoom Business is £159.90 a year and lets you have 300, Restream Business $2990 a year at $249 a month and only allows 10 people. 4. Stream times for Restream on business plan you have 20 hours a stream, on Zoom all paid plans let you stream for 30 hours 5. Storage options. Restream Professional is $490 a year with 10 hours a stream, 10 videos stored, upload limit 1 hour or 2GB total. Thats 10 videos at 1 hour for 20GB of storage and Zoom is £159.90 a year with 10GB stoarge and 30 hours a stream. With Zoom you have to add the extra storage and pay for it. File size is determind by the resolution you stream at and the file type(an MP4 video file size is a bit less than and AVI Video file) so a HD file is more than and SD file. As an example I had recored a game for 1 hour and 10 minutes or so an 1920x1080p and it was 3GB or so in size. So on Restream i can only store 6 videos at 3GB on the Pro plan. Zoom is worse as i can only store 3 vidoes at 3Gb on the Business plan. The thing is, on Zoom you pay to upgrade the storage and its an extra £80 a month for 1TB, £400 a month for 5TB If you did gaming on Zoom or in general Id say you need 1TB minimum for storage. It would be £239.9p a year on zoom with far more storage, stream hours and video uplaods Even the 5TB would be £559.9p a year total for even more storage. The price difference is mad as on Restream you have to pay $2990 a year with only 50 videos max and at 4 hours or 10GB per video. So with restream you can stroe 500 videos max at 10GB.
