I have an alpinestars A-10. in my opinion, it’s the best off road protection you can get if you want full coverage (minus elbows unfortunately). Fits under a jersey and is very light/breathable. all CE-2.

The side protection seems to be lacking on the A10 while everything else on it is CE level 2. How do feel about it?

which ones would be best for wearing a hydration pack with? a removable back would be nice.
@rmatvmc Жыл бұрын
The Fox Raceframe, TLD Rockfight, and I believe the A-1 Pro all have removable backs. But honestly, they're so low profile that I don't think you'd need to remove that backs with a hydration pack. - Chase

What are sizes of the deflectors exvept the first which has been mentioned?
@onthethrottle7104 Жыл бұрын
I love Troy Lee stuff but I purchased the Troy Lee roost deflector they show there and it's wimpy to say the least. It's just for small roost, that's it. So keep that in mind.

I like the A1 but wondering how long is the back part compared to the A 6. Seems the A1 would be reaching the to of your pants on the back. Constantly moving the whole thing???

How well does the shoulder protection fit on the a6?
@bagargui Жыл бұрын
You should test RXR. Shimoda uses it. It has inflatable cells in addition to the regular material they all have.

Will ya'll be doing a heavy duty chest protector review for 2023? I'm thinking about the Leatt 6.5 but not sure.

Yes, we should have one coming out soonish. But in the meantime, what questions can I answer for you? - Chase

What would you recommend for a skinny person, I’m 5’11 135lb with about a 39” chest

I've really liked my A-1 Pro from Alpinestars. That and the Fox Raceframe D30 are my two favorites right now. Fly has their new revel lite that is really good too, but I don't know if we have any in stock right now in the smaller sizes. - Chase

Chase i am 60 and want good chest,back,shoulder and rib protection. I do not care for the jackets down in South East Texas national forests and South West Louisiana. Which in your opinion has the best protection. I have the Leatt 5.5 with no rib coverage. Tm leaning towards the Alpine A-10 V2 even over the Leatt 6.5. Please give me your opinion. Thanks and keep up the great work yall do.

I think you will really like the A-10 V2. For how much coverage it has, it doesn't feel as bulky as some other options. - Chase
