Was just thinking last week up at Trestle…wow wow a lot of folks are wearing these. I kinda felt underdressed, and was. Rainmaker sent me home with 3 broken ribs. Will def be adding one to my kit going forward. Thanks for this and all your local vids.

I want to get into some more serious MTB, and I'm definitely gonna need the extra protection of these spine and chest protectors. I have a connective tissue disorder, so I fall apart very easily. Thanks for the info and the recommendations, also love the cats in the background. God bless

Haven't been to valemount in a few years. Love that place! Broke my collar bone at fernie this weekend past. Day 2 into recovery after surgery.

@@dylanrumbolt8190 too bad dude, luckily I’m a teenager so surgery wasn’t necessary but they said if I was any older it would be a guarantee

Is the Alpinestars A10 V2 a good option?

@@fraanzfan8158 yeah it’s impact level 2 so that’s a really protective option. The rest just depends on your comfort

What about leatt airflex chest protector? Im very new to MTB and it very hard to find any mtb gear in my country (thailand) All i can found that seem might be good is leatt airflex so am not sure that will it suitable with our 30c -40temp and is it good for protection Sorry for my bad english
@GnarlyBearMTB16 күн бұрын
@@theweejr its impact certified so it has good protection. All chest protectors are going to be hot, but the air flex looks cooler than most. The air flex seems like a solid choice.

@@GnarlyBearMTB thank mate in your opinion which one should be better in term of airflow between fox racefram impact and leatt reaflex chest protect
@GnarlyBearMTB16 күн бұрын
@@theweejr I own a raceframe impact and love it, but I’d guess that the leatt is cooler slightly.
