@@djvasforever I dunno...accepted-wisdom dictates that the synergistic ab muscle group should be trained in order from "smaller-to-bigger", so Lower (first), (then) Sides, (lastly) Upper. @patrikzbransky25496 жыл бұрын
Greetings from Slovakia. Jeff, as many other people around the world I really admire you. I´ve been watching your videos since 2011 and I wish one day I will look so good like you. On your appeal to let you know which topics we want you to cover here are my suggestions: 1. You have done the triceps rope pushaway on the cable machine with the cable set on a position higher then your head. Is it a bad option to set the cable on the bottom position near ground and do this exercise that way - similar to triceps extension? 2. Chest dips and shoulder health issues. 3. Thank to your advice we know that the leg extensions are a bad exercise. What is your opinion on legpress, hack squat or leg curls? Are they a bad options, especially because of the pressure on spine? 4. Recently you showed us the best exercises for triceps long head. What are the best (and also some unusual) exercises for lateral head? 5. Maybe I have just missed it, but what is your master tip for legs? 6. What are the best options to target teres major (apart from wide grip at lat pulldown)? 7. What is your opinion on front squats? 8. I probably haven´t seen you doing rowing exercises (sitting with cable or on a machine). Is there a reason behind this? 9. In a 2015 video Quick shoulder mobility drill you used a resistance band and during this drill your arms were travelling behind your body almost to your glutes. Isn´t it a risky position for shoulders? 10. First aid by neck pain, neck stiffness. 11. How to target multifidus muscles? Why are they important? 12. How to target abductor and adductor muscles? Why are they important? 13. Joint nutrition (glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM): real effects, benefits, dosing. 14. Tribulus, glutamine, carnitine. Do they really have some benefits or are they just waste of money? 15. What is the absorption percentage of vitamins from multivitamin supplements and sparkling tablets? Are they worth that money? 16. Pros and contras of drinking plain water (chlorine, minerals)? 17. Is it true that cardio training on empty stomach burns more fat? 18. You showed us how to take dumbbells prior to doing flat benchpress. But what is the safest way for taking them before doing benchpress on negative bench with head down and then put them back on ground? 19. In a video from 2015 you tried to do the impossible sit up. Can you do it now? 20. What is the best shoe option for wearing in the gym: sneakers, powerlifting shoes, bare foot? 21. We already know how to sleep in the right way. But what body position do you prefer while watching TV? And last, but not least: Is there any way to get your autograph? Seriously. (And maybe Jesse´s as well.)

As a former competing powerlifter I've never attempted to look extra good , so i was doing what would help me lift heavier and beltless. Leg raise with resistance ( someone's help with hands pushing on the sheen forcefully when the feet are at the top point) while on a dicline bench anf holding onto the bench edge behind was best for me .

Jeff, my abs are just like yours! I just can't see them for the 1" layer of insulation:) Please! Make a video of your meal plan. I'm sure thousands want to know. Thank you.

That's was informative! Been working out for decades and that's the first I've ever heard about an over reliance on hip flexers. I do experience lower back pains but always thought it was because I needed to stretch more; never seemed to work though. I like the science behind the movements. I will incorporate the screwdriver into my ab routine - 70 assisted situps, 30 unassisted sit ups, 45 hanging leg raises, 40 side ball crunches- each side, and 90 sec planks. Thanks!

hi, I Watch your video about correct way to do bench press, ( to do list bench press). you mention The ac joint. when i was about 16 years, my shoulder make a little pop sound and since then I lost control of the shoulder which I build back over the years, im 23 now, still keep trying to improve the situition, all of the doctors said it's winged scapula but after you mentioned the the bone keep stick up after ur ac joint pop, I understand that the first thing to happened to me was ac joint pop that made me lose control of the sacapula. Do u mind make a video about this joint- 1)how this injure might happen 2)antomy 3)exercise that might help to improve the correct situation. Ty jeff ! love your videos.

Should someone with hernyas do deadlift or similar (rpmanian deadlift, stiff legs deadlift)? I know recently you have done a video saying a proper deadlift/squat form don't cause back and lower back pain, but what if someone already has hernyas and protusions (i have them in lower, dorsal and cervical spines)? Should i continue to deadlift?
@joshbreaksk8IN6 жыл бұрын
PsicheViolata hopefully Jeff comments but I'd say go light at first or ask your primary doctor first. Obviously if yiuve done then before your form is already there but I'd still slowly work into a heavy weight even if you're doing 50 percent of your prm you're going to be doing better than doing nothing muscle wise.
@PsicheViolata6 жыл бұрын
I have progressively overloaded from 35 lbs dumbells to 160 lbs barbell in 3-4 months. It's not that much (i bench press almost the same weight), i have good form and thanks to God no pain, but now that weights begin to be heavy, i have some doubts and wanted clarifications.
@llee2816 жыл бұрын
PsicheViolata I'd say as long as you keep lifting with good form you should can keep progressing weight. But if you don't want to go too heavy, try switch up the reps and sets of the exercise or try doing 1 1/2 style reps like Jeff does.

Not stiff legged deadlifts. You're asking for trouble with those. You better off doing bodyweight reverse hyperextensions on a roman chair.

Thanks Jeff, really sir. Appreciate it. Broke my collar bone and couldnt do upper body got out of working out got fat and tricked my lower back. I decided to get back into it and bought a tower the collar bone feels fine for dips but the back is feeling old. Thought I might have to knock off the rust with lat pull downs and rows and some back work still might but I can see the logic in this movement . Thanks for making a video on this

Abs are made at the table. It’s what you eat. This guy’s muscles are very revealing b/c he is extra lean mostly due to his diet
@cam17883 жыл бұрын
To an extent.. You can still be very lean with no abs or not good abs. This guy has abs from his diet for sure but definitely from some hard ass work and great knowledge too

Love this exercise. I have to conscienciously look for ways to avoid overactivating my hip flexors, so I cant wait to try this. Also working on some shoulder issues after a minor subluxation. I do have a slight problem that the paralell bars near my house are too wide for my shoulders, but I will see if my joints can cope. Cant wait. yay. Thanks for posting Jeff
