BEST LS SWAP OIL PAN for NOVA & CAMARO + it's CHEAP | Top Street Performance 81075 aka Holley 302-2

This time on SPPTV Rob's Twin Turbo LS Nova gets a new Top Street Performance oil pan to replace the Fbody oil pan currently in use. The Top Street Performance oil pan is a better fit for early Chevy muscle cars like Camaro's and Nova's and others with similar front clips. The steering interferes with the Fbody pan, and doesn't allow for lock to lock turning.
Also the oil pickup in the Fbody pan is near the center of the pan, which is not the greatest for drag racing, and could cause oil supply issues. This oil pan is basically the same as the Holley LS swap pan, but sells for cheaper.

Bought the same pan for my 3rd gen Camaro 5.3 swap and it fit great. Definitely no regrets buying it.

Same here. What transmission and headers did you use. I wanted speedengineering longtubes but they were out of stock, so I tried some lsspeedy ones.

seando87 XT I’ve got a turbo on mine with a stock manifold on the driver side and a log manifold on the passenger. I took the T5 out and went with a 4l80e with a 3400 stall.

What do they recommend for torque specs for the block off plate and 4 bolts for the tray that sits inside the pan they don’t send info in the box Thanks

You can flip the tie rod ends forward on the center link but redrill the center link and put reverse cone spacers rod ends.

The built in oil drain bungs will they work even though you aren't using them or is the cross member in the way?

I used that same exact ebay pan in my latest swap, quality was great and all the included parts fit perfect. F-body pans have gotten stupid expensive, you could probally sell the one you took off and get a decent amount of money back.

I have the TSP 302-3 knockoff pan. I also purchased the TSP baffle kit basically just like the Holley one but only $50 Haha

I did the same, I trimmed a little off the corners of the baffle because it hit the pan and I wanted it to sit as low as possible to reduce the oil flowing under the baffle.

It's looks exactly the same as the Holly, packaging and all. I have the holly pan sitting in my garage and it came in the same white box as in your video.

Did your pan come with all the hardware? I'm pretty sure mine only had the bolts for the pickup, mine is the -1 pan. I've not been impressed with most of my recent Holley purchases

My Holley pans didn’t come with pan bolts or a gasket. This one does. Def a better buy.

Did you check the pickup to pan clearance? I just installed one of these and it's 3/4", it's still on the stand so I may modify it.

Until Holley starts sponsoring you guys (ATTENTION HOLLEY) its a great pan for a low buck motor or for someone who cant buy the high dollar parts anymore. It seems to work great and Im sure it will keep that motor alive as far as where its getting it oil from,mid pan or to the back. Great video!!

Looks just like my 302-2 minus the turbo drains....even has the 2 bolts pickup tube......mine hits the tie rod ends just barely, so when I upgraded from the 4.8 to the 6.2 I hit those spots with a grinder , I think it had to do with the fancy motor mounts I used , brp mounts if I recall.....pf48e delco oil filter your gonna need

Thats more like Holley 302-3 because it has 2 turbo drain plugs and clearence for 4" stroke.

Most of these pans are made by the the same place in China, a lot of places sell a version of it. I prefer the Moroso pans, their billet pans are great, but even the cast ones come with better parts in them
