Hi! I recently found your channel and fell in love! I really like that you spend your money on higher quality items instead of tons of fast fashion items that don't last. I hope to start spending my money on better quality items but I'm not sure about how to care for things properly. Could you do some videos explaining how you take care of your shoes, handbags, and other clothing items in more detail? I know you mention it in various videos but I would love to be able to reference a few specific videos on things I would need to do on a yearly or more basis and what you do to keep things in their best condition for as long as possible. Great video I bought the exact bag in 2011 when I went to France and it has held up perfectly!!!! The honey colour that the leather has turned is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I also agree with fine jewellery over a million pieces of costume. No coats for me I live in the Caribbean. :) Wishing you a great weekend!

Hi Elle, one of my favourite investment pieces was an LK Bennett black dress in the style called Tina, I think that particular style has now been discontinued but they bring a very similar one out every year. It's so flattering and tailored and just hugs the body in all the right places. I ended up buying that dress in five different colours. And I've had to much wear out of them, it's just on the knee so will never date. My favourite purchase ever. With the LK Stilo shoes and their classic black clutch I feel a million dollars! 😄

A Burberry trench coat is next up on my list. My favourite investment pieces would be accessories also like you say - my Chanel bags and SLGs as well as my LV shawl that I wear almost every day in winter - corporate or casual - it works with everything

I am a collector of Hearts on fire diamond jewery. I wear my 1.5 studs almost every day. I started with .5 caret per ear and many Xmas I would ask for them to be upgraded.. I love this about my jeweler the they apply the amount you spent already and apply it to up grade. I am very lucky to have diamond hoops, a clover a tennis bracelet and a double row right hand ring. I did the same thing with my bracelet. I am married 28 years and my husband does not mind knowing what I might want. Thank you for all your videos!

LV Mini Pouchette because I use it EVERY DAY to carry some small essentials. For years I used an expandable little case that would lose its shape but the mini Pouchette holds the same amount and is always the same shape! ❤️👍🏻

Thank you for your advice. Especially on the shoes. I agree looks great on the red carpet or in the box but after wearing them for a short period of time your feet start to hurt. I used to want a pair but my friend talked me out of buying a pair since she didn't wear hers as often as she'd would've liked to because they hurt. I do agree on the Prada shoes...so comfortable. I have a question regarding your Burberry trench. How often do you dry clean yours? I have one as well and not sure how often I should get it cleaned. Any advice?

+Silk Manner Hi Silk, I went with brand new and I chose the Turenne MM. I'm still interested in the Speedy 30 Bandouliere in mono. I intend to go new with that one also. the only items I think I'm going to purchase pre-loved right now is a Neverfull MM in mono, another Speedy B in Damier Ebene and possibly some SLGs. when I was looking for the Galliera still, I did see very many wonderful options on Tradesy and Fashionphile. I think I would trust Fashionphile first, but depending where you are you may have to pay taxes. Hope that helps! :)

I'm the exact same way about jewellery I usually just rotate Tiffany silver and some family heirloom gold stuff and my friends think I'm crazy for not buying every trendy choker from forever 21 😂 pretty much any metal that isn't silver, gold or platinum leaves a huge green marks on my skin so I have an excuse to ask for quality stuff 😅

I bought a DBTY necklace and it itched my skin so badly that I took it in to find out what was up. They said they used a different cleaner in the past so they washed it for free. But yeah, they told me if I ever want it cleaned in the future it'll be $20. 😒

I totally agree with Elle about buying good jewelry. Since I started working, I have bought mainly sterling silver and real gold versus costume jewelry and it's definitely worth the investment to build a collection. However, if you like the graduated bead necklace and can't afford the Tiffany's version I highly recommend the Ralph Lauren version. I have the necklace and bracelet set in both silver and gold metal. I bought the gold one about a year ago at Macy's and it has worn well, and a few months ago I purchased the silver version as well off of ebay for less than $20. It's a very good dupe on a budget, and mine have not tarnished or discolored at all.
