Is it necessary? Rather take the speedy train to arrive at the destination quickly then treat yourself 5 stars comfortable stay instead. Copy the Japanese rail managing model! 🤔

If you're in a hurry to get from 1 place to the next, this would not work for you. Rather, this is for those that enjoys a slow travel. Emphasis is on experience, not speed 😎
The fact that you kept mentioning about how costly it was and that must only be affordable by the wealthy few were actually quite off putting. I get it, it’s expensive bla bla bla. I wouldn’t honestly spend any of my wealth on this rather lacklustre train and frankly, I see no value in this.
👎 Overpriced and not all that luxurious, along with a totally inefficient use of space. The food looks OK but not any better than a restaurant experience in the US$50 category in Taipei. The seating car is a joke with cloth upholstery and 1+2 seating; no better than a commuter train car. The dining car is OK, but nothing to write home about. I have no idea why there needs to be stupid viewing cars, bar stool cars and bench cars which nobody seems to be using! There should only be ONE kind of car which is both the dining and primary seating car. It should be fitted with 1st class airline type seats upholstered in soft leather which can be configured to face each other in 1+1 or 2+2 arrangements with curtain partitions for group privacy if desired. Meals should be served to you at your seats with a folding table between facing seats. When not dining, the seats can be reclined or laid flat for sleeping longer overnight trips while the table folds away. This way you can carry 3 to 4 times as many passengers while offering a superior (more luxurious) experience.

Why would you want to be confined to your seat? I feel going to the dinning room with actual dinning table provides a much better experience... Were you actually on the train? Our experience is polar extreme...hahahah
