I have this case for an M3 mpro. and it is "too" expensive. But Every 50 dollar case looks cheap and junky (imo) I bought this case, and it makes the mbp look even better. Installed it looks and feels like it came from apple. I also like it covers the apple logo but that is just me. If you love your mbp and use it for many hours every day and you are even considering buying it...then this is the case for you. I am not sure if it is "worth" such a high price but i do not regret buying it and will buy more cases from this company in the future. I bought the "insurance protection" for $3 so I could return it if need be, but nobody is getting my wonderful leather case....

Question. Do Andar cases for macs cause stress to the hinges and hender full (100%) closure?

I have this case and I really don't think it will. It's very light, the part that goes over the lid of your laptop is very light

Ok, the leather smell is awesome, it looks great, and it's easy to install, but if you drop it will it prevent damage to your fragile MacBook Air?

Yes the leather is fantastic! As far as fall protection, I expect it to protect the MacBook as good as any other case on the market would. Because of the weight of a laptop, you would need something seriously bulky to protect it entirely, and so I don't expect this case can fully absorb impacts.

@@freakytechreviews I agree wit this. If you drop your macbook from waist high onto the concrete, I think it's going to get pretty damaged. unles. your case is two feet by three feet. get applecare to protect and be able to afford the repair if you srsly drop it

OK One thing I do want to note is that Andar does not allow you to post reviews on their site. I bought a The Helm for my 2019 MacBook Pro and it was slightly different from what was on their site. I would not have rated the cover a 5 but probably would have rated it a 4 because there was a piece of the laptop exposed in the back not a big deal just wanted people to know that it was there. Of course they send link to review but link only shows me the reviews. Well I thought that was a one off, so now I got a new Mac and was debating on buying The helm again. The first one was pretty good and held up well, so I went and ordered it, totally expecting the piece of the laptop at the back bottom to be exposed. To my surprise that issue has been fixed. I would have rated it a 5, I asked for the link which they said takes two weeks, and again the review link they sent was to view the reviews and not an actual link to write a review. So just want to say the product is really good, but they control the reviews to make sure they don't have a bad rating. I honestly don't see why they would need to the products that I have had were not bad and smell really nice of leather, they are packed really well and fairly fast shipping. Lots of good reviews online. So that is my only gripe about them is the reviews that are posted most likely are not legit reviews.

I think that's a valid concern and thank you for sharing. I don't like when companies do this, because unless you do due diligence like yourself, then consumers have no way of knowing. Thankfully Andar products are actually good, but still, transparency is king.
