A little bittersweet for the end-of-the-year wrap-ups to be coming to an end. 🥺I know folks who have watched beauty youtube for ages can relate! I think the note about the "little things" was important. Appreciating things like that really adds up & make a fuller life. My product like that is the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creme in Teddy Fluff (found on this channel)! Enjoyed the list! I appreciate your focus on the best of drugstore all year long. I buy mainly high end makeup, but I buy holy grail drugstore when I find something exceptional, and your channel is what I follow for favs/fails. Here is a crazy example: my ride or die mascara is the original Maybelline Great Lash, applied over Chanel's Le Base mascara primer. I know it makes 0 sense financially to top a $5 mascara over a $27 lash primer 😂, but the Great Lash turns into even more Greatness. 😊 Happy New Year! 🎉

I am a high end makeup person so am glad you split the videos. I love the Too Faced blushes, I normally do not buy from Too faced as I don't really like all those scents but the blushes were lovely. The Natasha Denona concealer and lip liners, and ABH Cosmos palettes were my favourite purchases this year

I only bought one eye shadow palette this year. The Dior Silver Essentials because I loved the Backstage Cool palette so much. I like a more of a subtle shimmer. I am tempted by the Natasha Denona palette though. Her midi Retro is one of my most used palettes.

I’m usually a drugstore girlie (NYX Bear with Me Serum concealer was my go to before) but decided to give the ND one a go since ev1 was raving about it. It is worth the hype and the $$. For this, I would suggest Chanel Rouge Coco Flash, or Chanel Allure (satin, not velvet), or YSL Rouge Pur Couture, or Hermes Rose Balm, or Chantecaille Lip Veil. Order from someplace offering samples!

There is absolutely a difference in the brown and black Too Faced formulas. I hate the original because it flakes and smudges and clumps. The brown never does and is one of my favorite mascaras. It is so pretty. I wear it all the time.

I've actually been saying this eyeliner has lasted longer than any of other liquid liners so I'm surprised your eyeliner dried out so fast! If you just purchased it yesterday and it's already drying out it definitely sounds like you got a bad one. Either way, I'm sorry to hear it didn't work you! It truly has been one of my favorite products of 2023 and I've had mine since the spring and it's still going strong so it's crazy we've had such different experiences!
