Floridian here! Makeup is so tough in the summertime! It’s a shame, love wearing makeup but it doesn’t work as well as when I travel up to NY to see family. Even if I put only a serum on, I’ll get in the car and dab my face and feel the serum on my finger tips 😅

I never liked cream bronzers , blush, etc. I trust powder to not smear or if it fades it doesn't look crazy like creams can over time. At least for me.

I agree makeup is getting so expensive these days but it's great that there good drugstore products these says, as before they were mostly rubbish. Thanks to brands like ELF, Milani, Nyx and Maybelline releasing great stuff, they were my top three drugstore brands. I am mostly a high end person but love the ELF and milani lipsticks, milani baked blushes, Maybelline and L'Oreal mascaras, Nyx liquid eyeliners and brow pen and pencils, the ELF Camo CC cream, and the Maybelline lip crayons

I LOOOOOVE the elf O face lipstick! Even though they don't wear as long as my matte lipsticks, I tend to wear reds, so these strain my lips. I have No Regrets, and Own It. When the lipstick itself wears off, the color remains. And they don't get patchy as they wear.

I've been meaning to tell you, but my 7 month old son loves your voice. He just watches you in aw, and I have no idea why. I watch tons of KZbin, but you are his favorite haha

I love the buttermelt bronzer I don't even need blush when I use it because of the slightly rosy shade. I love the Milani cream bronzer as well too.

There is one that you didn’t mention and I actually bought because of you: the Catrice True Skin Hydrating foundation. Amazing!!!

I love the nyx butter melt products! 🥹 I got the bronzer in the shade all buttad up and I really like how it’s more of a rosy toned bronzer. And the blush in the shade back and butta which is perfect for the upcoming seasons but oh lord it’s so pigmented, I have to be extra careful 🫣 They’re very nice and I’m glad I got them. Only downside is that it says it’s only good for 6M which seems so so short for a powder. I’ll monitor it and hopefully I can get used out of them for longer than that! 🧸

as a floridian used to extreme heat who loves going out, it’s basically IMPOSSIBLE to wear anything that isn’t concealer. foundations melts off, blush melts off, EVERYTHINGGG melts off. even worse if it’s school air X_X

The Essence Lash Princess is my go-to! Every time I wear it ppl ask me what lashes am I wearing or where do I get my lashes done. Now, I have a semi-long lashes but they are fine. So the mascara makes them look nice and full. So, I’ll take it over any high-end any day.

I miss the days when Elf was in its “sweet spot”. The quality had improved from its $1,$3,$5 days but we had things like the HD Liquid blush (one of my favs that I still miss!) & their studio blushes that came in about 6 colors. Did we have the best quality for everything? No. Did we have completion products beyond a three shade range? Also no 😂 but I feel we had a great brand that just kind of got too big. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Elf and still buy from it, I guess I just miss that mindset they used to have.

I find the ELF Halo Glow beautiful, it's one of their only products that I am really impressed with. Though it cost about $18.99 up here in Canada, but I find it breaks me out a little bit, so use very sparingly....

Orlando here ! my go to routine is to spray setting spray after i finish my makeup and when its almost dry i set it with loose powder and a puff. My base isn’t flawless at the end of the day but it looks much better!

In Florida it is SPF primer, SPF tinted moisturizer; SPF Foundation, SPF blush, SPF lip balm - you get the idea.

floridian here, i love to wear makeup whenever i go out but wearing a full face just isn’t possible here. i only use concealer to cover whatever i need and try not to use too much powder products because i sweat so much in the heat and it will fall off my face. i always use a strong setting spray to keep my makeup in check (i use the millani make it last original) and try not to worry too much about getting shiny. you kinda have to work with the humidity and accept you will never be fully mate. dabbing away your sweat instead of swiping it off also doesn’t disturb my makeup

I live in a very humid climate (i.e. typically 80% on a normal day), so makeup does not always get done. I do wear it at work, but I work inside. So AC helps it not melt off! So that's what I do. I love to glam up to go out, but since we have an 11-year old who can't seem to not trash the house when we're out, it doesn't happen very often! But yes, makeup is typically not a thing. Mascara and concealer is a must since I have dark, under eye circles.
