The music was beautifully synced to the gameplay, and if you watched past 2:37, I have no idea how you can say that the music was boring. People are so used to ultra loud rock accompanied by over-the-top, in-your-face editing that they can't appreciate subtlety and smooth editing anymore.

I miss Halo 3 montages...simply editing, beautiful cinematics, fantastic clips. Now we have over edited CoD montages with half ass setup killcams and multikills. Why doesn't everyone come back and play Halo 3 again?:(

fantastic montage, great plays, great editing. i really like to see montages that dont just have a bunch of sniper overkill exterminations, like to see smart plays. Agree with waht kevgrhm said about bestman capitalising on his opponents mistakes, like at 2:18 the two reds ran forward, they knew he had no shield but the second red threw a grenade, leaving just enough time for a second well placed headshot.. props for the music also, much better than that dance crap

i really dig this. it's not consistently as ripping as some others, but it has some of the sickest clips and doesn't try to be the outright flashiest. also, where other montages resemble wannabe extreme sports montages in feel, this one has just the right amount of tension and has real cinematic touches in the editing. great job.

Close range combat was pretty bad in Halo 3, and it almost always lead to simple 1 for 1 trades. If you want to kill multiple people, you can't go close range. Also, did you not see the 2 point blank scopes for the double and triple while under pressure?

This was a very nice montage and I really liked it. Mainly because it was different, not loud and flashy like all the others. It felt smooth with the music and very easy on the eyes which made it enjoyable and different. I have seen quite a few tages from pros and after a while it all becomes the same thing. Nice to know there are some different ones and this was smooth, easy with some great clips. Very nasty overkill in the end that was pure awesome!!!

My reason for doing it is because if you go for a quick scope, you can break the scope and be ready to either try again or back out. It's easier than zooming out twice. Some people also melee right after going for a quickscope, but I prefer YY.

Haters are gonna criticize this montage and say :not enough multis" but the average MLG player would not understand how hard some of those shots were, let alone on pros. The editing was amazing: great choice of music and length while not taking away from the actual gameplay by being too choppy. Overall one of the best montages to date, although even better gameplay could've made it one of the best of all time.
