Best MARKET IN ARMENIA selling fresh food (GUM Market)

We decide to visit a local market in the capital of Armenia (Yerevan). The GUM market is not particularly well located, you need a taxi ride to get there as it is out of the beaten path, but this is part of the charm. You will see very few tourists there. Food is particularly well organised. Shops selling dried and candied fruits (armenian sujukh), nuts, spices, vegetables, meat, chesee and the traditional armenian bread: lavash.
Come hungry as there are lots of shops offering you samples before you buy.
We also took the opportunity to buy 10 year old Armenian brandy: Ararat, but if you are fan of this types of spirits you can buy up to 20 years old for less than €40!
This is by far one of the cleanest markets I have ever seen!
