I got a Sandisk 128 GB SD Card and I took some vidéos on it. When I went to upload the vidéos onto the Computer, I couldn't find it anywhere on the SD Card. It appears on the Camera when I plug the SD Card back in, but it doesn't appear on the Computer or Phone when I plug it in them. ¿What do I do? (The SD Card is a Phone SD Card with an Adaptor)

You may want to check Nikon’s website to see if they have any software to download that will make your computer recognize the files. I’ve had that happen before when I got a new camera that recorded a new file type.

Im a newbie and just got my Nikon D5300. A friend of mine gave me a microSD and the camera kept prompting me that its defective. I looked for SD cards in my area (I live in Jamaica W.I.) , there is none. All that is available is microSD. Hence I searched on youtube if microSD would work. I stumble upon your video. Have a quick question! I recently found my 5100 but there’s a problem with the SD cards. At first I wanted to see old pictures I had on my SD’s. I was able to see all my pictures on my 4-5 SD cards I have initially . But for whatever reason the next time I tried to load the pictures it didn’t work... now I’m trying to take pictures on the camera but it’s telling me there’s no SD card inserted when there is one inserted. There’s 2 SD cards that I slide in with the green light turning on then off but still with the message “no memory card”. The other SD cards don’t even flicker the green light. I’m confused as in why it worked then all of sudden it’s unable to even load the pictures now... please if you can help. Thank you!

Have you tried looking at the pictures on a computer? You can always stick the card in and see if it'll let you format the card in camera (beware that this will delete anything that's on the card so you'll want to save it somewhere first) and that'll set the card up to work properly with that camera.

That’s because almost all DSLRs have a 30 minute recording limit where the camera automatically stops. You should be able to keep recording by pressing record again after it stops. I would definitely test it out first though and get a larger capacity card if needed.

Yeah, older cameras don't typically support higher capacity cards. I just looked up the manual for the D3000 and it is only compatible with SDHC cards which means you can't use bigger than 32GBs.

Joel Airbnb Tour Guide, I’m not sure what you mean by a “normal” SanDisk card and a Sony card. There are many different versions of each that vary in speed. But the Z6 shoots at 144 Mb/s which is the same as 18 MB/s. Any “U3” card will work fine in the Z6 because that means it has a minimum sustained write speed of 30 MB/s which is higher than the 18 MB/s of the Z6.

Hi , I have the Nikon D500 . I basically want to shoot only photos , which card is recommended and what is the different between the sandisk extreem and the sandisk extreem pro ? I considered both of them and also consider which capacity should buy. Hi, I have just bought the 32 GB Lexar UHS-I U1 Professional (633x) for my Nikon D750. Do you think it's a good catch? My old Lexar premium 16GB UHS-I (the one which came with the camera) suddenly got corrupted and stuck to the lock position (actually it is in perfect condition and even if I move the slider it still says it's locked). I am a bit afraid of Lexar now...

I wouldn't be afraid to use Lexar. All cards will eventually fail because of use. You just never know when it'll happen. I've used lots of Sandisk cards and have breaks before. I have multiple Lexar cards as well with no issues!

I couldn't find any info online about either camera's video bitrate, but judging from similarly priced cameras, this 64GB card ( amzn.to/2oIR8oJ ) should be able to handle video on both cameras. Just make sure you format the cards before use especially since they are two different brands and write files differently.

It may be. I had a hard time finding the bit rates for the Nikon cameras because they aren't published on most sites. Do you have a manual for the D750 with the bitrate published?

@@CamberFilmSchool I don't, but I found a video a month or so ago about jail breaking the d750 to obtain a 64mpbs video instead of the 48mpbs at 1080-60...it was like a "d750 hack" KZbin video. Of course you can kill your camera if you don't know what your doing. I think the flat picture profile is good enough anyways on that camera and then edit it, no need to tamper with firmware 🎥📸👍

Yeah, I head you on not jailbreaking! I thought about doing some of that with my Canon 5Dm3 when I still had it, but decided against it for the same reasons.

You can get a higher capacity card, but it’s not really necessary unless you just plan on leaving a lot of footage on the card. I typically shoot something, transfer it to my computer, and then format the card so it’s empty again.

Yeah. You just have to transfer the footage to your computer and then format the card once you put it back into your camera.

its more not using , i still manage to get out early doors, photographing roe deer on my local golf course with my d850 or d7200 half the bulk , with a 70-200 2.8 . the lights still a bit low at 6am .im a stickler for low shutter speeds 400 down to 100 as the sun dilues the early mist away . i might get 60th to 125 by 7am

I just looked it up and that’s plenty for the D5000 and you should have around the same time mentioned for the D5300. But keep in mind that there is still a 30 minute software recording limit that you’ll have to restart your camera. It’ll automatically stop recording at 30 minutes.
