I had to get a hooded box for my girl. As she's gotten older she's more fearful to do her business outside, so I got her an ordinary box to start with. Unfortunately she would always fling most of the litter out of the box or just tip it over! She spends several minutes covering her business, AKA getting litter on everything except the poop she's trying to cover 😅. I still get a tiny bit of scatter with the hooded box where she manages to fling it through the little flap door, but I'm hoping one of these mats will help with that and at least she can't tip the whole thing over any more!

Just found your channel. Have you done any videos or do you have any recommendations for mats/litter boxes/litter shovels if using pellet or wood litter?

no, i have not. i am not a personal fan of pellet litter - and since reviewing those sorts of products would require me to switch my cats to it, i have not. however, this reader did a pretty cool DIY project for wood pellet litter - www.floppycats.com/reader-diy-litter-box-area-kitty-potty-project-for-ragdoll-cats.html - my favorite litter scoop makes a pellet one: amzn.to/3mTr1pg - you might read the reviews there to see if it's a fit? thanks for watching!

The thought bubbles were a riot. And of course, gotta love the closed mouth complaining meow. I know he wasn't thrilled, but he's still better than Sassy with being held for any length of time. It's a work in progress. I can hold him longer than when I first got him, but nowhere near as long as Chiggy is tolerating it.

I think so closed litter box will work gr8 with this as the litter will scatter only in one direction and u can put mat in that direction. It also work as food mat my closed litter box is coming till then I’m using this with food n water dispenser it works great for it hop it is same for litter

hooded litterboxes (unless kept immaculately clean) are just rude to cats.

@@You-cd8ke yes, that's good - but keeping the inside clean - on all sides of the inside is what matters too - otherwise it's like having a porta-potty - no one likes to go the bathroom in a porta-potty.

wow not much scatter in a week! that is about 1/2 amt after one cat after one visit to box! i have a high back litter box ( male himalayn) who holds a bunch in his paws. I'm continuosly sweeping wood floors. I'm tired any suggestions???? i use this litter mat plus a bath mat beyond that mat.
