There are 27K views of this and I think 1K are mine. I could listen to this once a week. I need to be reminded.

This one especially fit for me today, the interpretation of Ephesians 5:16, "buying back our time" (often interpreted as "making the most of every opportunity)" - where Dallas brought another interpretation (redeeming it). Buying back back each moment 1)being thankful 2) relying on God - just living each moment with God. THANK YOU! He explains that this a concrete process - and so important now, because the world around me is "set up to wasting my time" - all so good. Thank you Joanne!

Thank you, Brenden, for your comment. I think I get what you’re saying . . . there is a “ringing true” in my spirit and a making sense many Scriptures that never made sense to me before, yet at the same time I’m not able to wrap my brain around this. I’ve been listening to an Apple podcast of Dallas’s messages to the Bible Society in England. And in answer to a question after his talk, Dallas said that we need to begin with the gospel that Jesus preached - the gospel of the kingdom. That is, that the kingdom (or reign) of God is available to everyone, even those who were thought of at the time, by the religious leaders, to be unacceptable to God. So, I think the Gospel of the Kingdom is the place to start. In following Dallas’s encouragement to see for myself what the Bible says about the Gospel of the Kingdom, I collected verses and put them in a grid of boxes for easy reference. If you’d like, I’d be happy to send you one. Just email me at joanne1600@gmail.com

Brenden Smith there is a 12 part series of Dallas giving lectures on the divine conspiracy, which is his greatest life work. Listen to those. In them, he expands what he says here.

I’ve listened to this series many times over. There is so much depth to what he says and it takes a while for what he is to sink in.

Rob Vandiver I am reading “Life Without Lack” and I think this book, taken from audio recordings from a small group gathering back in the 80’s or early 90, would be a simpler, practical teaching on life with God that I think you might really enjoy.
