Cross on semi is working weird, at least on pro clubs it doesn't matter which one you use, it tends to look for the winger at the other side, no matter how much or less power you give. A simple tap sends it to the winger on the line, while there's a striker on the box. It wasn't like that at all last year.

Big respect bro, helped me out a bunch my setting must of been completely mangled… hard getting used to this now but everything’s the way it felt in previous fifas, bar the fact this game is broken so gameplay wise it has its regular moments but this is so much better, thank you!

For the l1 switching classic is so much harder and it’s hard to predict which players it’s going to switch next. That’s why I use closet to ball. It’s so much easier and easy to know what player it’s switching next

I know Neal keeps harping on about Ball relative like its the best thing ever but here's my exp of using Ball Relative for over two years . I started playing mid Fifa 22 and in Fifa 23 and 24, was Elite div with good SR, got multiple rank 1's etc, so I've played at a decent level. I admit initially i was struggling with player switching and using Ball relative made the game a lot easier for me. But once you play the game long enough u realize that it is restrictive in a lot of ways and it has a ceiling cap which cant be broken . Just this year for example i dont think u can reliably defend first time through balls - just in Div 1 i faced a few ppl who did nothing but setup first time TBs the whole game, or Kick off glitches(esp if you play a depth of over 60 or so - ur team does auto offside traps on kick off and makes it harder to defend with BR switching) , or Crosses - esp after we get Aerial + striker and Whipped pass fullbacks(as was the case last year) , also last year some people would switch ten times b/w fullbacks in the build up. (There are probably many other instances that i cant think on the top of my head) But in all of these you can see the play coming but cuz of restrictive nature of Ball relative switching , u cant defend em . So it leaves glaring holes in your game . I think the main issue is that switching b/w Ball relative and Player relative settings is extremely hard . I tried it . I think lets if you have been on Ball relative for a good time , it will take you first several months to erase the muscle memory just cuz its so deeply rooted and then probably over an year alone to master Player rel switching , imo its that hard. And in that transition you'll become a much worse player which is extremely frustrating . Not to mention that all the new football games that are coming out- Goals, UFL etc dont have Ball relative switching in them(which essentially means it'll be like impossible to play them for ppl on BL cuz u need a long ass time just to change and u cant just switch b/w EA FC and lets say UFL easily if u are using diff forms of switching ) Also as Neal says that after a certain point in level Player relative is better cuz of better manual pressing and many other things . So just why not stick with the system that is better in the long run. Yea it will take more effort to master but once u hit the ceiling cap with Ball relative changing back then is a long and arduous process(probably like 2 years, NEK) If u think u are always going to be a full on casual who wont get past Div 3 for example like ever(which since you are watching an improvement channel ultimately u should get to a good level) then yea i would say stick with Ball relative cuz its more intuitive and easier, otherwise i think it probably makes more sense to stick with Player relative as it is ultimately better, does not have a ceiling and you wont have to undo all the years of learning to change to it at the end anyways . I think its kinda like saying take Steroids now to get jacked but regret it later.

@@Wazzaabc Generally its not that big a deal to try new settings when u noob at the game . See if you like it . But it just takes so much time(like years) to revert back to Player relative and master it . That's why its not worth it .

I guess its personal preference . I do find Ball rel to be more intuitive and so I'd love to be countered on the above points so i could maybe play it again for that reason . @NealGuides . But in general i think its got way too many shortcomings and ppl oughta stick to the player rel and switch to it sooner rather than later .

Bros keeping precision shooting a secret, I swapped to it this week and best choice I’ve made I’m smoking people in elite div and went 15-0 with it I’m hitting so many finesse shots and finishing bottom and top corners it’s deadly now I need to master green time and it’s over

Hey, thanks for the refresh on settings. For some reason, i cannot make camera custom angle to save. It keeps reverting to default each time i enter a match. I play on tele-broadcast ( don't mind me ) and it's super zoomed in compared to how it's supposed to be, i need to pause and switch back and forth for it to work.

I have not see the full video yet but I have to say that after checked the game and try to adapt to the new game my conclusion is that its more enjoyable put the shots in precision, you fail some shots but its for you and you can learn and fix it but its better in conclusion. All the passes in semi, the same you have the control of all and dont fail stupid passes or unless its up to you and the big big change I felt its, this year yes, Run with R2 depending of the pression you do, try it!! you have the R2 and R1 in just one button, this way disappear the distance between walk and top speed and nothing in the middle, its VERY IMPORTANT unless for me. Competitive controls must be this way and the arcade game will be died.

I was in division 1 with a decent team Now that im back in FC 25, im struggling hard defending since when i hold X the player only follows but doesnt do anything else, i tried to defend using the L2 and R2 but the opponent just pass me or dribble me and scores, is there a way to make the defense easier? At least meanwhile i learn how to defend propperly

I don't get one thing.... I've played thousand of hours on fc24 and now same on route on FC25. I've accepted I will never be elite. Max Div 6. Thing is , why don't I get same expertise players matched to me when I'm div 8 or 7? Where are the 4-3 scorelines? A close match! The matchmaking is funny on fc

I switch many times settings from KZbin chanels and afhter that (or tactics ) and i don't win more games afhter I do now the standard settings and my own tactics 4-3-3(2) and i go from division 6 to the end of division 4 (2 wins and 3) Don't use Perfection schooting it's only for profs!!!!

Use tactical defending and go into the practice arena skill games against the AI keep practicing. I hope this helps

@@NealGuides when i follow the opponent player with only using L2 + R2 it just goes away with a sprint or dribble. Since it doesnt have that aimbot that follows the player automatically like when i use to follow just holding the X
