I always feel bad for being unable to grow my hair like traditional metalheads or most of the metal youtubers. Beimg an Indian, its so hard to convince my parents to grow my hair or even wear complete black 🥺...But you - my man gives me satisfaction that having short hair doesn't really matter..

I'm going to make a list for this. It's going to take while. I just want to communicate a possibly unpopular opinion. Metal was not the most metal thing in the 70s especially the early 70s. Prog Rock and Jazz Fusion from that time was much heavier, faster, and overall contains more aspects of metal than metal itself.

Generally I agree with a lot but the 70’s were baked off way too generic. What about Led Zeppelin, The Who, Status Quo, Scorpions, Van Halen.... so many others to name... Sorry, but those artists deserve a lot more credit. I am aware that finding Metal as it is known today is a bit hard but what was considered Proto-Metal today is worth a listen.

I'm just waiting for 1986. That should be a ride..... Edit: Pretty pissed about that choice. However, I do remember that album fondly - I was 13. The clincher was 1994's choice. It sounded like a dog turd on a turntable, but I LOVED that album. None of my friends did at all. Not even a tiny bit. Glad to see it here. I sometimes feel like people exclude them because they’re MetallicA. I’m a big fan of MetallicA and metal in general and I can understand why black, load, reload, and st anger aren’t here. Like Black is metal but a lot of hard rock, load/reload are blues, and I don’t think I can say st anger should be here on its reputation alone. I love every album but the older stuff definitely deserves respect to be on lists like this Kill ‘em all revolutionized thrash metal Ride the lighting had one of, if not the metal ballad. Master is puppets is fucking master of puppets And justice may suffer in the bass department but the songs on their own carry that album. I love other metal bands to but MetallicA despite being the most popular metal band, get excluded because of that in my opinion.
