If you're getting into "the used market of things no longer made" there's also a lot of other options (that wasn't the point of the video, he's showing current pedals you can buy new at various price points). Also, pedals are just fun to play with, which is one of the main points of this video. There's lots of people making a good living playing guitar who get their distortion from a pedal. Ryan Haas Don't care if it's plastic, I'll use it on my cheapest amp to practice at home with headsets on. For gigs i got a bugera 6262

Ive honestly got to a point in life where budget and general hobbyist impulses have me building and hot rodding my axes but damn do I love your content and am going to have to get myself a lefty Solar just for the sake of supporting what you do.

Love the new guitar! Hopefully they will bring out a version without the evertune, I would buy one instantly!!! Much love from Barcelona!!!

Why wouldn't you want an evertune?

To reiterate, why would you want it without the Evertune? But if you really want that, just nag Ola about it until he says why or caves in.

Some of us just don’t need/want the evertune... it’s ok though, everyone has different taste! 😉

@@cesararias4633 I'm just thinking that it'd be way more convenient to have a guitar that literally never goes out of tune. I've never personally played an Evertune equipped guitar though so I wouldn't really know.

I have the Metal Core but changed to a Metal Muff. Who can say no to a Muff 🙂 then I bought a Solar guitar and due to that buy I found out about you Mr Englund and this channel. So i started to watch and watch and watch and then you show all cool stuff so you are the reason I now have a mooer Black Truck, a Headrush gigboard and now resently a BluGuitar Amp1 Iridium. Buying your great guitar turned out to be very expensive for me 😂 but I heard somewhere most toys win so I am happy but more poor.

The Metal core. I prefer the Metal zone but I’m old school that way. I’ve been using the Metal zone since 96’ and have always been able to snatch the tone I want. It’s simple, cheap and Metal. 🤘...like my wamen.

I'm a big fan of the Behringer pedal series. For the price of a couple of beers, you can experiment with tons of different sounds, including reasonably classic effects. I've had $2500 pedals and I've had $25 pedals. For $25, Behringer cannot be beat.

Great reviews. "If you dial this too loud it's gonna sound like ass" - idk why that cracked me up more than it should. Keep up the good work!

Awesome metal core made this list. It is a good distortion pedal. I recently bought one on the second hand market for $50. The only 2 distortion pedals I have on my board are the Boss Metal Core and the Friedman BE-OD. I also use Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal as an EQ (everything on 10 except distortion on 0). Awesome video as always Ola!

The Fullbore from MXR is pretty decent. The natural distortion from the Line 6 DT25 I use is beast with a BBE Sonic Maximizer rack unit and a Boss EQ pedal puts out a monster tone. Just my two cents lol
