Tuner, wah and noise gate are optional. P90 or humbucker guitar downtuned > distortion > muff fuzz > phaser > delay > reverb > into tube amp on the the of break up, in roughly that order, several variations of this signal chain exisy but this is it in it's basic form, it's tried, tested and what is guaranteed to work. You can drop the phase for flange or univibe, you can run 2 fuzzes or add an overdrive into the distortion, or run phase before dirt but these are just variants to that signal chain above. People mostly argue about which exact distortion or which muff fuzz variants but and it's all subjective but almost any will get you into doom territory with ease when stacked in the above chain order or some variant of that order.
