Danke!

I had no chance to try the 100-400mm so far but used the 50-200mm together with the 2X TC and it worked great. I have created a review on it, which you can find here if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHXYpqR4gdFoodE

Totally agree Valentin. Since I bit the bullet and bought the 10-25mm and traded some of my zoom and primes in that range, it has never left my EM1 Mk3. It has never let me down. Such a superbly versatile lens. Best lens ever for me. Oh and how long has that engagement ring been on? Good quick review. Thanks.

Sadly neither have OIS, which is especially strange for the 25-50 mm as Panasonic previously added Power OIS to all lenses with focal lenghts >25 mm. So for wide end stabilized lenses the option is basically the 12-35 f2.8 II or the Pana Leica 12-60 mm.
@overnightdelivery2 жыл бұрын
Yeah that is one frustrating thing about these latest exotic lenses. Not really an excuse not to have OIS. Yeah the newer bodies like G9 have IBIS but adding OIS means even better stabilization. Even the super tiny and cheap 12-32 lens has OIS, so claiming it adds weight or size doesn't add up.
@GrenlandUnderVann2 жыл бұрын
@@overnightdelivery While I have never seen an official explanation only lenses with focal lenghts >25 mm have OIS. This has been like this since the beginning when no Panasonic bodies had IBIS. For the Olympus lenses none have had OIS, instead depending exclusively on the IBIS for most all focal lenghts (there are a few exceptions for a few of the very long tele lenses). I'll try to adress this issue at IFA next week if I remember.
@ValentinKossenko2 жыл бұрын
I agree with both of you here. Although performance is quite decent, even without OIS, it would have undeniably been even better if they included it here. Perhaps it's harder to implement for lenses with that focal length and aperture. I think the 10-25 is a little more complex in construction than the 25-50 though, so I also find it kinda weird that they didn't include it at least in that lens.
@overnightdelivery2 жыл бұрын
@@ValentinKossenko I own the 10-25 and it's my favorite lens by far. Just weird that all lenses can't have OIS.

What lut do you use? The color was insane. In using 10- 25 , Are you find any parts that 42.5 is not satisfied with?
@ValentinKossenko2 жыл бұрын
Everything was shot in Natural picture profile and graded manually afterwards. The 42.5mm is a great lens, but the 25-50 is so much more versatile, which makes it a no brainer for me.

Quick question. Is your 10-25mm f1.7 autofocus loud enough to where your internal GH6 mic pics up the sound? Just bought this lens new and I’m trying to figure out if I got a bad copy with moderately noisy autofocus or if that’s normal? Would appreciate any advice! Great content!! Thank you!
@ValentinKossenko2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think it is noticeable when using the internal mic. But I almost never do, so it's no problem in most scenarios for me. I also think this is normal and most lenses have a slight humming sound, et cetera. Especially when recording with the built in mic as every single vibration is transferred to the camera from the lens.

Hey man! Another great video! I’m looking to create recipe/cooking/home interior design content for KZbin. Based off the info you’ve provided in this video, would the 10-25mm lens for a GH5 be better suited for this type of content?
@ValentinKossenko2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it! The 10-25 will be great for that type of work! The 25-50 is a very nice lens as well as you can see in this video, but I'd say that for the niches you named, the 10-25 will be more versatile. The 25-50 is more of a portrait, close up, beauty shot / b-roll lens, while the 10-25 is a great allrounder for almost anything.

@ValentinKossenko2 жыл бұрын

A few years ago, I was in Sri Lanka & Malaysia with just the 10-25 and it was awesome. It's a very versatile lens and probably the one that I would go with if I could only choose one. The 25-50 is a far better portrait lens though as the additional compression and focal length gives you a much more flattering look of people's faces.

@@ValentinKossenko The 10-25 f1.7 and 42.5 f1.7 is a great somewhat affordable combo that will fit nicely in a small travel bag. The 10-25 and 50-200 if you have extra room in your bag and money to burn 🔥 🤣.

@ValentinKossenko4 ай бұрын
@andersistbesser4 ай бұрын
