Earth Spirit is A tier for sure, cuz Invoker can get dumpstared by Sniper, Huskar or Viper. Level 1 Kick does 180 damage wo creeps, so you can pull agro and secure range, thus dodging the lane. Also roll has 2k range so it isn't that hard to get both water runes or pull waves. Level 3 kick one shots range creep so you pretty much insta kill the waves and harass enemy. By the time you are 6, you can kill enemy mid. Vessel is good if you want to go BM, but Echo Sabre feels better for mana reden and damage it provides.

earth spirit on the rise for sure right now sometimes you just get unlucky in blind pick but if you last pick rarely see sniper/invoker/viper for me

The unfortunate reality at lower ranks is that some of these heroes may be bad at higher mmrs but I find Timber and Tiny to be the best heroes I can play mid. Tanky as fuck, never die and do shit loads of damage. I can't play traditional mids like invoker and ember or puck easily in games because people 1.) I suck amd 2.) The coordination isn't there.

I find they both have strengths and weaknesses, with mobility heroes like puck you can abuse the bad coordination from enemy team and split push/pick off a lot of people where as timber/tiny can be easier to play in big teamfights can stand infront or jump in first for team more

Did you know necro can use both bkb and ghost shroud at the same Time ? Makes him almost unvulnerable for the combo duration, it's unlosable if you get refresher. It also nullifies all the counters to necro coming from items (shiva, vessel, nullifier...)

I did know that actually and its really nice but it still feels weird for his regular build up/playstyle you want really long fights not to pop bkb and win fight b4 it ends type of thing

@@iAnnihilate you pop bkb when you get vesseled or nullifier on you ans you are gonna die. You can then shroud and be untargetable with right clicks. It completely ruins the hard counters to necro and you can scale so hard late game

What's a good counter to Puck if enemy mid picks it

if you are below 10k mmr then just pick sniper and win your lane. People at that mmr do not know how to teamplay and how to farm very well. So just destroying puck in lane and then buying full defansive items like stats, shard, pike, aghs, even bkb and you will be good. Aghs sniper actually catches puck frequently off-guard. and since the best counter for sniper is to always jump him you just need to have any reasonable carry in your team which can cleanup the fight or save you, like Luna or faceless void.

Tinker’s a mid hero if you’re a hero specialist. Definitely belongs in that tier I’d say. Pros are experimenting with it.

Death Prophet is fun: power treads, witch blade, aghanim - wish good luck people who try to trade right clicks with you. As an offlaner I don't like her that much, as a mid she is way better. I even tried DP as a carry and won both games.

yeah i tried that build too, but I only consider her killing machine is when I get Eyes of skadi, before that she is just slowing people with Ags. I spam her and NS offlane, my favorite item for her is definitely Assault because you just melt buildings and I prefer to not teamfight with DP in this patch...

I just feel like death prophet falls off when enemy has bkb/crit on carry and you get kited a lot and cant really take t2s that early anymore but she can work for sure

@@iAnnihilate I see that sometimes people go for magical build like guardian greaves, sange and kaya and so on. DP with these items really falls off and becomes more an annoyance than an actual threat. But I think that physical DP never feels weak - I have already played a lot of long games with her and I have to admit that there were situations when I felt not strong enough during midgame but I always recovered and ended strong after getting crucial items. Yes, BKB reduces her spell damage but her ult lasts longer and parasma helps to slow down enemies although I bought eye of skadi in some games (against Alchemist for example). The worst matchup should be Drow with aghanim but decent Drow playes are a rare case in my mmr bracket (I am bad at Drow as well). But I have to say that this pick can be more successfull in case of low mmr games where DP is a rare guest and people are not super experienced in terms of kiting her.

Its so sad OD is F tier, he's one of my favorite midlane hero that you can have a good CS during laning phase with his 2nd skill annoying your opponent, he needs more buff that facet buff isn't enough for this meta 😢

at average mmr there are some outlier heroes that perform better but for the most part what works in high mmr works even better in low mmr also if nisha or miracle played any hero mid at 2-3k mmr they would smurf crush the game I just like to mention my own experiences in the patch and whats good in top level pubs and always try to mention what may be strong at avg rank specifically in a patch (normally sniper is op in 2k and bad at high rank but hes good right now)
