To let everyone know every rule is different in every state this is in facts a middle school Gulford middle school to be correct, in my state middle and high school teams are allowed to do kick full baskets and twisting cradles it's illegal if a team can't perform the skill in a safe matter ur welcome :)

Many years ago my middle school’s Cheer Team used to have like twenty members but then they’d only take ten or less. This year only ten tried out for cheer (they all made it) and at the neighbor middle school only 3 tried out for cheer and like 12 tried out there for dance team (48 tried out at our school. I also tried out I was the only boy who tried out but I messed up my fortes and coupe turn but other than that I did fine. I also didn’t make it lol)

For everyone commenting that it’s an allstar team, it isn’t. Different states have different rules for cheerleading, meaning not all cheer teams have to have a chant, simply because yours does. The announcer even says “Gifford Middle School”.

Flyers are awesome . We did the same when I was in high school but the issue I had was this new girl that got put on the team late her back tucks she would t look to make sure no one was behind her and he had bad luck hitting ppl like she was all over the place so she had to be on the back row after that and idk how she had even gotten put on our team bc we all had to try out with a dance routine a cheer running back hand spring back tuck and our standings . So maybe her mom was just rich enough to get her on idk

I live in Canada, Quebec and here’s almost all School have ALL STAR cheerleading as a sport. Primary, middle school, high school, college etc. Level 1,2,3,4 and I even saw 5. It’s way better than that.

There are different divisions for middle school teams, not all require a cheer. This was Gifford Middle School at All Out Championship Jacksonville in 2015. You can usually tell the difference between all star cheerleading teams and school teams by whether or not there is a spring floor.

Look up that regulator. They are only for Competitive teams. If you are competing as a middle school cheer team, you WILL be disqualified if you do a full down or and baskets. You can't even say their the best. They might be able to do good skills, but they aren't accounted for if they are messy, just like in this video.

And people are saying it is off beat. Probably most of you don’t ven do cheer. And I do cheer and dance. And they have worked very hard and it’s stressful when you get out on the stage. And if any of you have sport like cheer dance gymnastics you understand what I mean. You are going to mess up. Sometimes you mess up on the parts that you are always so good at in the routine. But sometimes you forget what you were supposed to do instead you are thinking about what they judges will say and if your coach is going to be disappointed on what you placed for that competition. And no team is the best. One team may have really good stunts. But they may have horrible dances. One team could have the best tumbling but horrible jumps. I do cheer and I just had my last competition of this season yesterday. We were sad but also happy because we got 🥇. I joined this cheer team last year during spring/summer. I first started on doing tumbling sessions. I started on level 2 and now I’m on level 3. I’m working on my roundoff tuck. And then when the gym I was at made a team I got into it. There is only one team so far. And have been practicing for a year now. And have done 7 competitions this year. This is a new gym thay opened last year. And we have one first place on all competitions except one we got second place. The coach of the gym wants to have 2 or 3 different teams this next season. She would like me to be on a level 2 team instead of being on a youth level 1prep team. That is the team I’m on right now. We have a four year old a few seven year olds. And me and this other girl our 10. But I’m about to be 11 this year in May. Anyway I really don’t want to see anymore hate on this video because the girls and maybe boys did amazing. And I’m sure they did better than you. So SHUT THE HECK UP.
