BEST MISSILE With DOUBLE MELEE ?!?! (Armored Core 6 Ranked PvP)

This is largely just in theory because I have little experience with melee builds, but I have messed around with missiles a lot. One thing I think worth knowing is Aurora doesn't just have its damage affected by energy firearm spec, but also its reload time. The difference between V-20B and Ming Tang is massive. But they did seem to work well with double melee, they can land at very close range unlike most missiles too. The 10-cell, while the damage they can put out is good, the problem is, when you do melee attacks that force your movement to stop or get staggered, it stops the missile firing prematurely. 10-cell has a very long firing duration and you actually accidentally cancel it multiple times when using it (23:38 and 26:14 are two examples) so their weight and EN load plus that anti-synergy with melee making them pretty hard to use, I dunno if it'd be worth it. For Soup, they're strong, and harder to avoid usually, but on top of their high cost, they will generally whiff very hard at closer ranges. So it only makes sense to use in a range where your other weapons don't work. I'm curious how the ACT homing missile would feel on a double melee build. The single missile variant is super light and even lower on EN load and you can have one out every 4 seconds so it's a lot of pressure that hovering Tetras in particular struggle to avoid. Their only real weakness is that if fired from the air above a grounded target they tend to smash into the ground and whiff, but you aren't usually that high in the air.

Vertical missiles (excluding VPMs) are in the Ransetsu AR "why hasn't this shit been buffed yet" tier of weapons in this game... Auroras are underrated though, they work great as a punish even if you haven't locked on yet due to having such a high direct damage modifier, kinda like Truenos. You do have to be really close though

Agree, there are a handful of weapons in this game that hasn't been buffed or nerfed (LRB) since release yet fromsoft still doing roulette/dartboard for determining what parts should be nerfed/buffed

Yeah they're not that much better in pve either, unless you count the cleaner boss but anything else can do a better job. Just a bad weapon in general

You should join the coop scene and invade. It’s actually very interesting and not as many meta builds. Being an invader also lets you be sneaky. You can also host a solo squad and have people invade.

I prefer split missiles on my main melee. Because of how they split into micromissiles with their own tracking, the kind of work in cqc better than other missiles. The cruise missiles are good too, but are basically dead weight if you're facing a kite.

Got hit yesterday with a ossicle salvo that made me think twice about those things. Ppl said they “go past” like it’s all they do and I didn’t question it. Never really noticed an improvement after moving away from Vs I think it’s bc you can ACTUALLY SEE WHEN THEY MISS ACROSS YOUR SCREEN unlike the depth perception of the H miss When they DO hit, WAY MORE MISSILES CAN HIT. And they often come down during a stagger punish xD

i think you def want something to help stagger so energy weapons are out. Mlt10 while assault boosting is amazing. The duo missiles are very good unless the enemy has a lot of practice dodging them. I think the split missiles are a good all around option being the hardest to dodge even by experienced players.

Honneslty depends on what you want out of your shoulder slot 10 cell is great for added pressure but needs you to not mellee boost plasma missles are hard to dodge amd great for stagger upkeep split missles are great for when you go in comboing them off of a flinch and duos are just hard to dodge great to get an early AP lead

This is awesome, but there's no way ill ever put down the pile driver. Its just too fun and hits like the freight train. It carried through 99% of the game. Only times I had to swap it out was for one of the main bosses, and secret boss.
