My first playthrough ended with a dual minigun wheelchair unit with a songbird and horizontal missile launcher. After some issues in NG+ I swaped out the missile launcher for the stun needle and never went back. If I need to chill I always go back to that build. So I am not surprised to see something very similar as your top 1. Good video btw.

One thing is think the final build would be better with the fast tank legs. Not ever having to stop to fire is really really good, plus you are moving as fast as a light AC (around 370ish). Another thing I noticed for that build in particular (a couple builds it applies) is you ignore the recoil stat on the arms. For guns like the Zimmers and the Gats, the recoil is as important as the fire arm spec. You should be focusing on arms that are strong in both instead of only the Firearm.

As for the tank part suggestion, I just personally don't like them, but I can see the benefit. For the recoil, you are right, ill experiment more with recoil in the future. Thanks for the tips

Dual Ransetsu RFs on a mid to lightweight build of mind alpha core and legs with melander arms. Head and internals are whatever but vp-20c generator and alula boosters are what I use. This will get you a boost speed of about 350-ish with fast regen because of your energy overhead. Ransetsu RF is probably one of the best general purpose guns in the game currently they can 2-3 shot most MTs with decent range and have surprisingly high stagger and direct hit adjustment for bosses. Don't bother with the charge attack on them just use the semi-auto mode. Your shoulders are flexible and down to taste, a melee for additional stagger punish or a shield works. You can even fit dual needles if you want. The generalist option is the lightest plasma missiles or their vertical version for poking and maintaining pressure as the boss/enemy AC AI is generally inept at dodging them and the aoe is good for clearing packs of trash too. This is capable of clearing every mission comfortably, even the super bosses with minimal changes.

When i found out the Stun Needle and Dual Minigun can pair well together really well after i did NG+, i used that for the entire game to help me complete the game easier before i fully complete the game (Armored Core 6 100% Achievement) with other builds, so its expected that i see that kind of weapons loadout in this video, maybe you should also make a video about good PVP Builds too? and btw nice video

The Huben Missile Crisis is #1 for a good reason. It single handedly brought me from dying over 50 times to CEL 240 and giving up on the game for months because of it to anti-climactically killing it in

Quad gatlings are ridiculous too. Q.G. is another "just hold W" build. I've always struggled fighting the final boss for the third ending, and on my most recent run, my quad gats cleared it first try. Blew my mind Edit: and it was a FAST fight. The dialogue almost didn't finish as each phase got shredded so quickly

If you don't wanna get up and close like most of these builds, you are able to cheese most bosses with a missile rat build using the new light tetrapod legs. You hover faster then most boss attacks can track, and with a good missile tracking FCS most of your missiles will get through to chip away at the boss. It's not crazy fast, but even on bosses like Hal and Ayre I'm able to finish them with 1-2 life packs left cuz they can't catch me.

@@HPLouise Their AI prioritizes missile dodging over being aggressive from my memory. Not saying they won't ever try to close the distance, BUT your hover boost dash is also fast enough to dodge them if this happens.

in all honesty the best pve builds are two stun needles then either combination mini guns, haris, zimmerman, the coral sword, bunker, lance and your good to go. Your legs should be what can carry these weapons and what feels conferrable personally I like the spring chicken and heavy quads, treads are nice but I don't feel conferrable using them.

I honestly prefer dual Zimmermans plus plasma canons in the shoulder. Sometimes I put a normal plasma canon in the shoulder and a bigger plasma one (idk the name)

@@dragonlancer1909 I actually only had some trouble with those, but with them I switched one cannon for a plasma gun, but it was extremely easy with all the other enemies. It is extremely versatile

@@Lu1zF3l1pe Thanks for the advice tried duel zimms and duel plasma cannons and S ranked Balteus Snail on my first go Ayre took me a bit longer (hardest boss for me personally) but I switch one plasma for laser cannon and was able to do it. defiantly keeping this build. Your also right for the enforcer and balterus regulars plasma cannons just melted them.

Not wrong! It's also healthy to have something really good in a game. Goes against the dev mentality of just nerf nerf nerf and it works. The games are hard and sometimes you just want to breeze through or just have fun :)

Cool video! Surprised not to see any weapon swap builds, though; the most dominant pve builds I've come up with use weapon swapping to keep dps up while weapons reload/cooldown. Dual melee builds are especially beefy for consistent damage output, though they may be trickier to use against some late game bosses.

I also have a weapon to cheese the game. Its the Laser Turret shoulder. Its quite idiot proof for my boomer reaction. They do the job nicely, especially for new comers to the franchise. The hand weapons will be a gatling gun, Curtis, or Harris depending on the mission length. The only time I swap this Laser Turrets is the time I go against 8 roller enemies. I use the largest vertical missiles to insta kill those.

To be fair pvp is a little more creative but yeah for pve you really need to spam though high damege/stagger weapons to punch through bosses its, essentially a dps race.

I prefer a slightly more high skill build but I cannot suggest Quad Shotgun enough, 2 Zimmerman, 2 Haldeman. Ocelleus FCS, San-Ti generator, Buerzal booster. You just rush down any enemies or bosses and it makes longer range bosses that fire missiles or lasers a joke

The swap thing is nice. However miniguns tromp on all 4 of those shotguns, paired with songbirds or needles. =Cakewalk at 5x the speed you could ever wish of dealing out with those paper stagger guns. The shotguns could be a great thing so long as you have constant buildup. Which you don't have outside close range. Like at all. So you have to be walking on your enemies toes. I'm currently trying it over and over, and I'm hating it, quad shotguns are not the way to go. Use a sword combo and have different shoulder weapons that you can fire on the move

Yep, not much nuance of even exploring different types of close range situations, like 1 on 1, or contained areas, or surrounded/outnumbered. I have about 15 builds saved, and maybe 5 of them are close range.

Low skill requirement is a big part of what makes builds op, bc anyone can use them and be successful. If something is really hard to do, most ppl won't succeed with it, making it underpowered for the majority of players.
