Hey man thx for making this video of neosho Missouri my home town the highground mtb preserve trails have alot to offer and we'd love to see all of you out there on them. There's also a few more downhill runs that you have to find yourself but you can expect most to start at the hub ;)

COOL! I had no idea this was down there. I'm from NE MO. First time Bentonville visitor in July 24, but heck, this is right on the way. Might have to stop by and give it a spin!1. Thanks for the great video!

Nice! If ever get to head back down to Bentonville, maybe I can stop there on the way.
@JaredRMorgan2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a really cool spot! Seems to be pretty well maintained, and talk about peaceful/immersive. Not crowded. Lots of scenic routes.

@@JaredRMorgan Oh, and welcome to Missouri. I'm originally from the KC area. But now exiled in Nebraska.

Looks like a cool spot! Definitely expected the black trail to have more.. but man ripping down at that speed looked like plenty of fun.

I was kinda shocked too, but maybe that line I missed is juicy. I shall see!

Talked with one of the builders when the trails went in. Evidently Rogue was contracted to build “Wildcat Chase” and “La-Z-Boy Downhill”. While they were building them they cleaned up an old horsetrail and built a rock garden at the end to create “Going Rogue”. Not a fully purpose built MTB trail, but a nice bonus tossed in for free by the builders!

these trails look surprisingly different from Bentonville trails despite being kinda close.
@JaredRMorgan2 жыл бұрын
It’s very different. Much more raw and narrow but that adds to the excitement really.

Man i know it's a drive, but eastern mo is awesome these days. Shepherd mtn is king for DH. Steelville is super fun, tons of xc on the ozark trail system...

There's an old "fire-road" back up to the top/hub that makes it like a 4-5 minute trek back up to start again. Not too bad... I have an eBike and it STILL smokes me, but I would rather suffer a little to experience more downhill runs!

I'm up near Kansas City and don't typically have an opportunity to travel to a MTB destination for a ride. How do I find trails to ride in my area? I'm a new rider wanting to developed skills and confidence for the rare instance of a destination ride in the future

I’ve actually heard KC has some great spots. I’d download the trail forks app and see what’s near you!

@@JaredRMorgan How do I find this trail system? I am looking on trail forks and cant find it.
@c.phillips69172 жыл бұрын
How long were each of the runs? How long was the ride back to the top?
@JaredRMorgan2 жыл бұрын
Runs to the bottom were pretty quick especially lazy-boy. I’d say the longest downhill run may have been 3ish minutes where the climb may have been 10? Just guesstimates here.

Where is this? Can't locate "High Ground MTB preserve" in All Trails or Trail Forks

They’re in Morse Park in Neosho. Was tricky for me to find my first go too.
