I know this is a couple years old at this point, but I wonder if you ever have any issues with the dropper post height? I've seen some complaints from others that the seat doesn't go low enough for their taste. I'm looking at the Extrada 7 and I have a somewhat short inseam for my height (5'9" with a 31" inseam). I like the step over dimensions but I have the issue on my current bike of the nut for the bottle cage getting in the way of my dropper and I can't get it as low as I would like it especially if I'm stopped on a hill or in rocky areas on trails.
@JaredRMorgan
@JaredRMorgan 6 күн бұрын
I've also heard of this problem and it often stems from the placement of the bottle cage bosses - they were a non issue for me, but had it been a problem I probably would have just drilled them out. LOL! If you do this, be advised, your warranty is TOAST.

Huh, I've got the Mt200 brakes on my Rift Zone and those exact XT levers on my Rise...other than the adjustability of the XT levers, I don't feel much of a difference.

I bought a frame only a couple of months ago to do a parts bin build. I managed to get an Ohlins 34 fork at 60% off from Jenson and this bike is fantastic, the steel frame is super supple and compliment especially over small chatter and the fork is outstanding on it. Probably one of the nicest bikes I own and just more comfortable than the excellent latest chameleon and my Nukeproof scout 27.5. Love this bike. Esker were super nice to deal with and I would completely recommend. Thanks to Jared for the review.

I've always been a fan of Suntour as how their products have such a good price to performance ratio. I came from an XCR Coil fork and upgraded to the Epixon Airfork and the difference is night and day. The thing about their cheap lineup (XCT, XCM, XCR) is that they use plastic bushings which tend to wear overtime which makes the performance not that consistent but you literally get what you pay for because once I upgraded to their better fork (Epixon), everything feels so much smoother and more stiff. Although they don't need bath oils, you could actually get away with 10cc of oil on the lowers, I do that as the prices of the "correct" grease here in the Philippines is just to much for me and I always have oils in stock from our car's oil change (5w30 synthetic oil btw lol).

@@JaredRMorgan How does the exhaust sound at different speeds? How does it sound going in a road trip on the highway in the car? How does it sound when flooring it from a stop in the car? Do the fake shifts actually change the tone of the exhaust? Is it worth it to get an aftermarket exhaust with a CVT transmission?

How are the miles on this saddle? My SDG Bel Air v3 that came stock on my Commencal is a rough seat and I hate it. WTB has always been my go to and I have more miles and days on a WTB than any other seat out there. The 14 trek slash I have has a great stock seat as well.
