This reminded me of when I had my Equate mobility scooter. I modified it with a like a portable cart. And still had space for the basket. Was able to carry a whole load from the grocery store.

I make my own larger front basket for shopping. Chips take up lots of room. Light things will never hurt the steering. Just so happens I have a new 2023 ZT10 as well.

I have used the hand shopping basket set on my feet on my Afiscooter C4. Then check out and put the items in the trunk.

Thank you Sergio for making this fantastic informative video I am currently a owner of the jazzy ZT8 and yes it is wonderful and supermarkets public transportation buses and public transportation Subway it is fantastic to maneuver in tight places This is an excellent video. Seriously thinking about upgrading to the jazzy ZT-10 with the conversion lithium battery kit I also like the back basket it looks very durable for heavy items like the water that you demonstrated thank you so kindly.

I attached big rear basket, big front basket, i can carry 6 plastic bags of food, 50 lbs. You could also attach smaller handrail bags

i been watching your video the past week or so bc my health is starting to push me the way of the scooter i been most trap in my house going on 6 months Narrapathy everywhere and still trying to fig out why so watching your videos in the middle of the night is not only entertaining but informative my main question for your machine which one will insurance approve bc some of your scooter look more for having fun lol

Why isn't there an option to have that rear mounted basket on the front? I'd much rather have the option to remove the little front basket and install a bigger basket for shopping.

The scooters cannot support too much weight on the steering column. It could damage the steering column and create a hazard for the rider.

Medicare/Medicaid is very selective to who they will subsidize and which chairs they'll cover. Most times, they prefer to pay for power wheelchairs that is allocated for indoor use. Thank you so much for all the great information ( hubby isn't going to be happy because I will have to get a lift. ) He mentioned getting a mobility scooter when we were over in Crescent City because there was no way that I could make it down the paved path to the beach ( 2 knee replacements and COPD and kidney disease makes it hard for me to get around ) . I have the 4 wheel and I have the extra large folding basket and it works great for shopping Took a long trip about 2 miles each way from where I was visiting Throw a couple insulated bags in the back it's in the back for cold stuff and made it back home nothing melted or got warm

13 miles on the ZT8 and up to 21 on the zt10. You can swap the batteries out for lithium and get almost double the range. You just would need to pay for the lithium charger kit separately. The manufacturer doesn't offer a lithium upgrade from the factory yet.

You can load it up with a bunch of different items, and if you use the rear shopping basket which is even bigger, you can definitely get plenty of groceries. If you don't feel that it's big enough for your shopping needs, you might want to consider using the scooters that are available for customers at the grocery store which have full size shopping baskets.
