Story time. Years ago I heard a story about when they met at a gala. Young Charlie was a lowly vaudeville performer or something and she was already a big star. He introduced himself and asked her to hold out her palm, into which he placed a handful of peanuts. "I wish these were emeralds." He told her. Years passed, and it was on one of their big anniversaries (I don't recall which), he took her out to dinner and asked her once again to hold out her palm, into which he placed a pile of emeralds. "I wish these were peanuts!" Hands down the most romantic story I've ever heard!

Thank you. Great story and fits so well with this piece. There was also something very special happening as the appraisal was delivered and the excitement built. Then combined with the owners heartfelt reaction and pride, like your story it was all about love and not the monetary value.
