Can sulfur powder be used for both fungicide and fast rot?
@succulentsforbeginners4 ай бұрын
@@ManSalwaFood yes it can be used as fungicide. On the other hand it can not be used as rooting hormone if I get your question correctly

I prefer the colorful little moon cactus on their own.
@gestiongmcg37174 ай бұрын
Sadly for some colors it's not possible. Because it doesn't produce chlorophyll

Just the video that I need as I am learning how to graft. 😃👍🏼🌵
@predragdokozic40132 жыл бұрын
I thought you liked the way a grafted cactus looked. I'm just kidding. Grafting has its advantages, especially with slow-growing species or those sensitive to excessive watering. I hope you will share your experiences with grafting. I am eagerly waiting for your new video. Greetings from Croatia.

Thanks for watching! :) I'm actually using my real voice now, before I used to hire voice talents but causes my videos to get delayed for weeks and sometimes months, so I decided to use my own voice :) Sorry for the accent :)

Very cool! What happens if you graft Gymnocalycium mihanovichii "Hibotan" onto Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variants that can photosynthesize? Will the grafted plant do well or even survive?
@succulentsforbeginners7 ай бұрын
@@atlas42185 yes, I think so. I'm gonna create a video about that and we will graft hibotan and moon cactus. Thank you

Thank you so much! Can I cut a rootstock that is already hosting a moon cactus?, to propagate the rootstalk .
@succulentsforbeginners3 ай бұрын
Actually yes. Ive done that several times. As long as you callus / airdry before planting it will work Make sure to sterilize with alcohol the cutting tool to avoid fungi infection (rot)

Yes, I think it could. I have tried many different root stock and it work, some grafted lives long while other dont live as long depending on their compatibility

Hey! Great video, and helps me a lot. I have a couple of questions! How long can a moon cactus pup survive on its own in soil? I ask because I removed a moon cactus pup from its mother plant so I can take it home in a couple days and stick it on my dragon fruit plant, since it’s the only graft working plant I have apart from my gigantic San Pedro. Will the pup still be successful if I graft it so late after removing it from the mother plant 4 days apart from grafting? How do I stop infection from taking over my plants like it did with my last little yellow 8 year old moon cactus? 😢😢 How do I make sure my grafting has near 0% chance of failing? So my moon cactus from before was infected and I tried to save a perfectly healthy pup, but it somehow got major infection and got the rootstock very very ill, how can I cure that? 😢 Thanks! please answer these, it helps me a lot! :)

it's an albino that's why the green pigment is missing. They are not fake that's why they are famous because of their glowing colors :)

Moon cactus is cold hardy but your root stock is not
