you know what, every time I feel lonely and depressed, I watch these videos to keep myself motivitated and try to pursue my dreams because i know life goes on and it won't wait for me till i finish this phase.i have learned this the hard way, being a 24 year old girl refugee in a new country, new language, new responsibilities,at first it was alot to take on. i thought i would break under the pressure, but then i remembered all the obstacles i have already passed and how i finished my mechanical engineering degree in a war zone and my family was torn apart, and i survived it all ,then i can do it,i only need this pill of motivation to keep me going because sometimes i feel like i have had ENOUGH ,like i have no energy left in me .i don't want chances to pass me by and just sit there and do nothing about it .thank you so much for your work,it means alot to me,please keep this work coming, by the way...this the first time in my life i have ever commented on a youtube video :),i am kinda an introvert person and dont like to post a lot but i just felt the need to thank you in person, whoever you are

Hi Ayoo713, thank you for your comment, I'm so happy these videos can help you out too. I'm actually the same age as you and also an engineering graduate, so we relate on that level. However I can't begin to imagine how hard it must be for you as a refugee in a new country going through those difficulties. Keep going, you're stronger than you know. Your words mean a lot to me. Feel free to reach out at any time and if there is anything I can do for you let me know! -Joel

I know if i walk in my mothers footsteps my biggest failures in life will be knowing i never tried and that i gave up. I don't want to be that person, my mother always had a "man" in her life whether they treated her and us kids good or not. Her biggest mistake was not growing as person and making something of herself, she will be 54 in 2 months but she looks to be about 60-65. She walks around as if she's 80, she only had me at 33. I've met women her age who don't look a day over 35. I know, i need to make a change in the family tree. My grandmother did the same thing, she had a career but she taught my mother almost all of her traits and my mother passed it on to me. Or at least she tried. I'll be 21 in a month, I think it's time for a change in the family tree.

I've failed at least 30 diets. I've cofounded a nonprofit that raised money for children with cancer that lacked health insurance. I've also had jobs I hated & now have a career I love. I'm hitting the gym hard, and struggling but trying to change to healthier eating habits. I struggle waking up but because of tips I learned on these videos I'm getting better and will win! My story is NOT unique. We all have challenges, opportunities, wins, falls, but ultimately we are ALIVE. Get EXCITED. Don't seek validation, use these great video guides to find your meaning of success & keep standing up everytime you fall. You/me/we are not unique, but we are alive together so let's celebrate each other & with each other. Look, we all get it. Life is tough. I appreciate these videos but if I can provide positive feedback: include less negativity (mentioning all the ways we can fail) and promote overwhelming positivity? Yes, it's important to highlight scenarios of failing to act. But this can be accomplished straightforward in the beginning & the rest of the video be filled with solution oriented tips/advice/perspectives. Again, thank you for sharing these videos & offering invaluable success roadmaps. My takeaway is: know what success is to you, what is your happiness, what is your goal. Is it owning a taco stand, being a titan of industry, or being fit? & dont rest until you get there BUT remember to ENJOY the journey!!! "Be happy for this MOMENT... this MOMENT is your life!"

My road is hard lately. Always daily listen and take a idea 💡 Pushing on. I would not make it without these talks and great books. I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago this Fed 22 with stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized. 27 chemo treatment's lung surgery. I ignored the elephant in the room. So I still work In a sales job. Also a marathon runner the two help me. I don't run now. Never give up go for close once more. Go a mile more. Keep going. God Bless!

I never thought that videos like this helps me that much until I started listening to it. I remember I started listening when there are still 3 months left before my final exam, the big one. I was having a lot of self doubt that I couldn't make it, couldn't score high enough to get into university. But I'm so glad I found this, by listening this while studying and working out. I built discipline and confidence. I'm thankful to get a little push in last stage of my diploma, without it I couldn't make it.

After ten years of marriage not getting anywhere in life feeling like a failure my dreams as a child drifting further and further away getting depressed as I'm was focused on everything and everyone's happiness excluding mines but finally this year it became enough is enough emotionally financially its taking its toll on me but I will never give up on myself of my life for myself and to be a example for my 11 yrs older daughter making baby steps working towards my goals sometimes too passive for me but small moves are better than not moving at all keep me in your prayers guys may we all reach and continue to live our best lives keep going never stop
