man, hate to be a downer, so, where do I begin, take them apart, I'm sure you will find, that the speakers are not rated over 30 watts. And is not really receiving big power. With a amp dyno. When I first started getting into stereo for bikes. I started with this style, and after heavy use and a few months, I blew them up. That's how I found, the speakers were really not even built for that kind of power and the amp was not even close to what it claimed. Wind at 60 to 75 mph they were hard to even hear aswell. You need real power and bigger speakers to hear them at highway speed. Especially if you have a harley over the exhaust and wind. Really you need 100 watt rms to each speaker and nothing less then 5.25. Speaker, diamond audio, cicada, rockford fosgate. you almost need a fairing and bags with 6x9 or 8 inch speakers for a loud system at highway speeds. The review of the ds18 ex8.4, I bought off your review and are in my bike with 400 watt rms amp. They are as loud as rockford fosgate pm282h. and much cheaper. I run 5 amps in my bike, and 8, 8 inch speakers, 4 tweeters, 1 pair 6x9. It takes alot to hear at highway speed w wind factor. It took alot of waisted money to get there and learn. Those pods need to be at full volume all the time, those type systems lasted me not even a riding season before failure. TAKE IT APART, check the actual specs on the speakers and on the amp, I was blowing the speakers and those amps were failing after a season.

I appreciate your work my friend but they are all rubbish including boss and lexin which makes me sad because there is no decent system for motorcycle. I put boss mc625ba on my bike and they can be heard for 80 km. Then it is impossible
