@@laddersrule7602 I am going to explain this as easily as I can. Imagine the movement you need to do with your foot on a prius to reach 60km/ph as fast as possible. Now if you have the muscle memory like that and you sit in a buggati and use that muscle memory, you will go through several walls because of a power difference. Now amplify this outcome about 3 times, because horsepower is more noticable of bikes and you have your answer.

It’s definitely a great beginner bike. I miss mine old one a lot some times. It’s super playful and just so easy to handle and take through corners because of how light it is.

@@karimmaamar7782 I have a friend who rides with me for the last 4-5 years, gave him my old ninja 400 when he started and he still uses it, he's never had any issues, and maintenance is very easy on it. 10/10 would recomend. as said in the video, it can go fast enough for legal and not so legal stuff.

Youre supposed to outgrow bikes eventually, just means your ready for a more powerful one now. It would be unwise for beginner to skip this bike and immediately buy the more powerful bike.

Honestly don’t know what the fuss is about. I just picked up the ninja 500 and im a newbie. Yes I understand that there are way more powerful bikes in the market but this 500 is by far more than enough for any beginner. Rode 70 miles with 2 of my buddies, 1 has a CBR 600RR and the other has a GXR-600. IMO personally anything faster than a 500 or anything similar to its kind is by far more than enough for a beginner bike. I got on the highway and was cruising at low 70s if I had to pull away in 6th gear, it hauls away effortlessly. Never rode the 400 but speaking for the 500 it’s definitely packs a punch. Even once I outgrow the speed, I’m not gonna move up cause this bike life is for the adrenaline junkies lol but I love it. Ride safe yall please.

if its ur first bike, that was pretty stupid, first bike should be cheap and small, you only need like 45-60 hp for a first bike most 600's have over 100 and they're usually race bikes that are unforgiving

Start with a little pit bike, and then get a bigger street bike like the mt-07 or mt-09. This tginf is so slow, and although super comfortable is very boring for a rider who already knows the basics. Buying a pit bike also means it’s super easy to handle, and the cheapness means it doesn’t matter if u crash

The 500 actually has almost the same horsepower (more torque though) than the 400. The main reason they increased the engine size is to make it in-line with Euro 6 emission laws.

I would highly recommend either the KTM RC 390 for taller riders, the ninja 400 would be just fine, but I personally am 6’ 3 210lbs and my ktm rc 390 is very comfortable with a tad more aggressive lean angle. I have driven both bikes and the power is similar until the 100mph range. Love both, but lean towards the Rc 390 despite what most people think!

I am just learning rn, on a 110cc bike. Will learn on this for 15 or so days and then get a 225cc bike, I feel like this would be enough considering I'm in india. Also I have been riding a 110cc Honda scooter for 2-3 years now, so I just need to practice clutch control and work on shifts.

You might struggle a bit. I can just flat foot it at 5”9 but don’t get discouraged. You can always learn ways to ride a taller bike. KZbin’s a great place for that.
