The weight stack is 200lb. However, The pulley ratio allows you to lift more than this

Thanks for the videos my friend! I bought a Marcy 988 and it let me to your videos. Great workouts!!! Combined with my EM2 program I am 30lbs lighter, off BP and reflux meds getting defined and cut at 54 years old. I feel 25 again. No daily joint pains, no fatigue and plenty of energy. Thanks for your dedication.

Wow you’re crushing it. I’ve heard of that program and it definitely works. I’m glad the workouts are able to supplement your program and that your joint pains have reduced. Thanks for sharing I’m sure this will inspire others. Do you mind if I pin your comment?

Mr. Will, I'm trying to get where you are. I started at 217 lbs and down to 196 lbs. I have not been under 190 lbs. My goal is a 34 waist, a bit more strength, and a bit more pep in my step. Since you are 54 and I am now 50, I will let you be a mentor, lol.

I love the workout videos. I turned 50 this week, and I bought the 150-lb package. I assembled it in the garage along with a window AC (it's too hot in Florida not to have one). I want to increase my fitness and strength while losing more weight. Your videos are very visually descriptive, and I appreciate you and your friends taking the time to make them for the public. The 150 lb package was bought through SAM's Club and discounted by $250 USD. Additionally, it is compact and does not require you to make much room or remove items from your garage (push or riding mower, storage boxes, grills, etc.)

I have that marcy club 200. I bought mine in 2019. Their website currently has 25% off until the end of January. The plate at the bottom does flip up for rows. I like mine. I'm in my 50's and bought it to gain some strength to help me as I age. I wanted you to look at the bracket where those arms bolt to. The little cylinder you slid the arm through and then used the plastic nut to attach then an allen head bolt to tighten in place is only tack welded in one spot. I had one break. I can't complain much because it broke after owning it for 5 years. You can have it welded back in place, if it does break. I had decided to buy a new one. That took over a month to get. The shipping was as much as the part costing me around $70 for the part shipped. Replacing it wasn't that bad. I'll be having my old one welded as a back up. I had picked this model because of the amount of exercises you can do on it and the fact that you can front press more than 200lbs. I'll be looking through your videos for different exercises. By the way I'm not fond of preacher curls because of the dead spot you get when you raise the weight up past a certain point.

Been looking at getting the 81010 and was concerned about comments regarding many such machines not working well for taller people. You answered those questions perfectly. Thanks for a really good comparison video. Well done.

Did you buy it in the end? Thinking of getting one too. How's it cope with using say 70kg+ on lat pulldowns?

@@stevenbowen23 Yes, this is an excellent piece of equipment. Highly recommend 👌

Appreciate you guys taking the time to make this video man! I have a home gym also. A pull down and leg extension were the two things only missing. Think I'm gonna go for the Marcy MKM-81010. Thank you so much!

Thanks for all the great videos and workouts. I got the Marcy gym a year ago and have been following your workouts. i know your leg videos don't get a lot of love because you are a guy but my wife was wondering if you can add a few more leg workouts to your playlists. the ones you have are great and we've seen great progress over the past few months. i didn't even realize how much in shape i am compared to a year ago honestly thank you 👍

You have a great playlist of workouts. I want to start my journey to a healthier life. Can i ask you whats your preference for working out, this kind of home gym on this video or actually weight plates say like a powerlifting rack. Thank you!

I have an older model (from 97) that looks a whole lot like your new one. Similar dimensions, slightly different design. Can find them used for dirt cheap all day

Great review, just bought the 81010, do you find the preacher curl pad is a bit wobbly 🤷🏽♂️.. cheers, phil
@LegallySwole4 ай бұрын
It’s a tad bit wobbly When only using one arm for concentration curls since I have all the pressure on either end. ilwhen I use both hands that doesn’t occur. I use it for barbell curls mostly now, I haven’t touched single handed dumbbell unless I put the dumbbells together with both hands

Good review. I like the birds singing in the background. On the new machine, since the handles can move backward, are you able to do reverse a reverse fly?

Dear, I am 187 cm tall, can I fully extend my back when exercising on the lat machine? I have the impression that there is not enough height between the seat and the bar for the lat machine for tall people, or am I wrong?
@KevsGuide4 ай бұрын
Thanks typically it doesn't allow shoulder press right
@LegallySwole4 ай бұрын
Yeah the bottom pulley is close to the preacher pad so the angle isn’t perfect.

Can you add more weight to the 150lb stack without risking the pull cord
@DarranRobinson23 күн бұрын
You state the weight stack on the 81010 is 300 lbs, but I am only seeing a 200 lbs stack when I try to order.
@LegallySwole23 күн бұрын
Yes you are correct, I made a mistake. When I was looking through the back press and chest press allows up to 260lb and 280lb so I assumed the stack was 300 at the time. All I can do is pin the top comment stating this fact
@DR-um2bvАй бұрын
So you will never get the full 300lbs, huh. Thanks for video because Iwas going to get the used( 150) one's off Facebook.
@LegallySwoleАй бұрын
I made a mistake in the video. It is 200 pound stack and the most you get is 280 from the low pulley. So it’s like a 1.1 to 1.4 weight factor based on which pulley you use
