Yes. But with mono shut off. You have no surround sound. Meaning. You have zero spatial awareness now. Mono should be on. It's the amount of strength that you add to it that is really going to do something. Having it too high will be just as bad as having it off. IT HAS TO BE TWEAKED CORRECTLY!!!! WHICH IS WHY I WISH ONE OF THESE KZbinRS WOULD GET AN ACTUAL GOOD VIDEO ON THIS AUDIO! MAYBE ASK AN AUDIO PROFESSIONAL TO HELP THEM TWEAK IT. THEN LET US KNOW WHAT THEY LEARNED. BECAUSE THIS AUDIO SETTING NEEDS TWEAKING.

I think my audio is bugged. All footsteps are extremely quiet, so bad that I can barely hear my own footsteps. But when I watch a killcam, I can watch the person and hear my footsteps and it sounds like a dude with led boots running around. Anyone else experiencing this?

That mono audio setting seems to be incorrect, Off should basically be stereo so left and right while mono is hearing both left and right through the same ear. That might be a typo by the game

The “Mono Audio” setting description is wrong. Keep it off for stereo sound. Turning it on when do the exact opposite of the description. Hopefully they fix that.

Effects audio is Gunfire sound as well, on a 100 plus master 100 RIP eardrums. Mono Audio means none stereo image. It doesn't give you an accurate 3D perspective of the enemy location sound, you just hear audio in MONO.

@@Springleaf. it is, the default is stereo, so sending 2 audio signals left and right allowing you to distinguish between sounds to your left and right. If you switch to mono you are now sending all the audio down one channel to both hears, so maybe the footsteps seem louder but you won't be able to distinguish their direction,so to me the description is misleading. But hey I'm just a guy on the internet 🤠

It’s the game bugging not your headset. That being said, I say this as often as I can. But any headset marketed as a “gaming” headset is shit. There is no such thing as 7.1 surround sound or 3d sound in gaming. All games are built in stereo, not in surround sound. It’s all marketing, research some audiophile channels. I use the hd 800S but there are more affordable options and I can hear footsteps clearly. You want open back headphones not closed back, when you have actual headphones, the engine will drive that sound outside of the headphone range and you will literally hear the sound from that far away
