I loved your video. I was familiar with all the tools but learned a lot from you about the Saren wrap uses and how to make your own lint free towels. You are one of favorite nail techs to watch!

Your tip about using cut up paper towels for lint-free wipes was the best! I've been cutting up regular paper towels for quite some time (instead of spending much more on lint-free wipes) but I wasn't using the lint free kind. They sell those same Viva paper towel here in Kentucky so I think I'll pick up a roll and put them with my nail supplies!

Oh my, I desperately needed your plastic wrap tip about a week ago! I was trying to encapsulate mylar confetti and add a matte top coat overall to produce an opaline effect (I LOVE opals!). It didn't turn out too bad, but if I had known about this technique, some of the pieces that curled and left small bumps (and had to be filed down, sacrificing some of the mylar) could have been tamed with plastic wrap holding them flush against the nail bed. You bet I'll give this a try next time! Great vid, Anatasia! You're a genius.

Thanks, Deb! Yes, it works for opals and stuff like that perfectly

#Nailcou Could you please make a video with opals using plastic wrap?
@chromeoiran9516 жыл бұрын
Natalia Kowalska OMG I agree 100%!! 😄 I would LOVE to see a professional's version of opal or even "shattered glass" nails using the plastic wrap technique to hold those unruly mylar/glitter "flakies" in their place. Please teach us, Anastasia-Sensei! *bows* When time will allow in your busy schedule. 😳

Natalia Kowalska ohmygosh ohmygosh!! As soon as I posted my response to you, I checked out what new stuff had been uploaded, and THERE IT WAS! 😄😄😄 She's amazing, isn't she?! If it wasn't almost 2am here, I'd already be working on a new set, I can't wait to wake up tomorrow morning and get started! Did you notice how many others commented about loving the color of opals in nails? Looks like we're not alone. 😉 Enjoy the rest of your night, and thanks for having such awesome taste in nail art! 💞 😁

Thank you for the paper towel / 'lint-free napkin' hint. That's so much cheaper than buying those tiny stacks of lint-free pads!

Great video, Ana! I didn't know silicone tools could be used to remove wet lines, thank you. Also, the napkins from many fast food places like McDonald's work really good for lint free wipes.
