This is why the lawsuit happened in the first place... Why are agents trying to talk the seller into paying a buyer agent's commission? The listing agent should be selling themselves and themself only not fighting for the buyer agent's commission as well.... They should advise the seller that their fee to represent them in selling the house is X% or $X and let them know that when offers come in the buyer's agents (if they have one) might request their buyer broker fee AS PART of their offer just like any other term in the offer..... It's up to the seller at that point if they want to accept the offer as-is, counteroffer, or reject... Should just be all negotiation... Realtors are still making the mistake of looking out for realtors as a whole instead of the people they serve

I think you have a point, the probable end of broker to broker compensation wasn’t widely known when we recorded this video, but in any case you will need to have the conversation with the seller at some point. The buyer script is valuable regardless.

This was BAD, most of this was praising yourself. No scripts. Our MLS NO longer show past commission.

You won’t get the data from MLS anymore but you can still know what other sellers are offering in your market, if it’s more balanced it will be more competitive to get buyers. We did go over buyer and seller scripts, did you watch the whole video?
